Well That was an interview with Ricky Hatton and Jon Thaxton.. so what was Witter even doing there.. I think it's the subsequent clip of the pundits' and Ricky's reaction to Witter beating up Beppe Lauri -- 2 years after the Hatton-Thaxton post-fight clip and a year after the Witter-Temple post-fight clip where Ricky had expressed his willingness to fight -- which seems to offer some accumulated telltale glimpse of longrunning nervousness in the Hatton camp re. a projected Witter fight.

Witter took the Judah fight at 9 days notice and didn`t even have the british title at that stage. I think Witter beats Hatton pretty easily, he is much too fast and accurate for Hatton and his speed and footwork will be the difference. Hatton will walk onto everything that Witter throws

This video is older than most of the floyd fans on this site, although it doesnt say much. Its at least 3 years old, probably more. I'd guess the OP is taking it as evidence of a long-standing disinclination in the Hatton camp to sign a fight with Witter, regardless of what Jr. does to warrant a shot. 7 and a bit years old, that clip.
