Berto or Ward?

I like to look at the future of boxing. Two BIG future stars are Andre Ward and Andre Berto. These two fighters had very impressive amateur careers. In the year 2004, they both fought in the Olympic Games. Andre Ward was the only boxer to win a gold medal from the 04 USA team (at light heavyweight). He was the first one to win the gold for America in 8 years. On the other hand, Berto fought out of his native Haiti. He end up losing his first round fight. But that could change if Berto makes some big moves.

Ward is going to lose in a month or so and if Berto fights Mosley he's going to lose also. So I don't see any of them having much of an impact on their divisions. :lol1: :boxing:

Ward has just beaten the man widely considered the best at 168!!He did it looking far superior too!!Berto has looked questionable against Collazo & maybe because I feel that Collazo won,I'm a little bias!!But all in all we'll see what Berto's made of when he gets inside the ring against Mosley come January!!

Kessler missed a good amount of opportunities to counter. Berto's got his version of Ward's shot in January against Mosley. Let's see how he responds. I agree with you...I'm looking forward to seeing how the young champ will respond against Mr. Mosley..should be a good one.

Ward with out dudes, Ward is spectacular he win against Kessler in his 21 fight, berto fight bums and have trubles

Andre Ward. I really think he's going to do big things in the future (I have him in the finals of the Super Six). He's got a difficult style to deal with and always focused and hungry. Plus, he seems like a great guy too. A shame he has to face one of my favorite fighters in the first round of the Super Six. yea..I like Ward in this Super 6 Tourney as well. I've liked him since he was fighting in the ams...good guy as well. Seems like a real respectful young man that loves the sport of boxing ad he loves to compete. With Berto, I think that he can make a statement if the fight with Shane falls through.
