there are a lot better cruiser to heavy prospects than cunningham, USS is a finesse boxer and wouldnt bring excitement or KO power to the heavyweight ranks. plus he regularly weighs in 7 or 8 pounds under the cruiser limit, which means physically he wouldnt be suited to go above 200. johnathon banks will be a heavy eventually and he can easily carry 220 pounds, if there is an american to watch for in this regard it is him, not cunningham Exactly my thoughts, although he could fight at HW if he wanted to, just not such a good idea for him.

I would like Cunningham to move up but he lacks punching power. Has a descent chin in cruiser, but most likely would get knockdown/out if he fights a top 15 heavy fighter.
