Low Risk

I understand what your saying. In a fight there's always a risk of something happening, but these guys are world class boxers and for the most part don't make big mistakes that lend themselves to something bad happening. Look at DLH he could fight somebody a lot more threatening to him than Forbes and even somebody close to his weight, but Forbes is that low risk compared to other fighters he could be fighting. So IMO there are fights that are higher risks than others.

It's all relative. The risk of De La Hoya losing to Forbes is low compared to him against someone like Forrest, Stinks, or Cotto, for instance.

all the talk about low risk opponents is bullshit. everytime a boxer steps in the ring he faces a risk. people say things like "floyd fighting oscar is low risk for floyd". "cotto fighting Gomez is low risk for cotto". thats nonsense oscar could easily take floyds head off with a left hook in the blink of an eye, same way gomez could could knock out cotto with a straght shot. thats the beauty of boxing its very unpredictable and upsets DO happen. i dont fink any fight is a low risk fight, a fight is a fight. (had to get that off my chest) So you don't think that some fights are lower risks than others? The answer to that should be pretty obvious.
