Floyd working for WWE good for boxing?

I know Floyd has time off now, wants to be famous, and loves to make money but its silly to have one of the best fighters in boxing be associated with WWE. Wrestling has a huge following but it is the dumbest thing possibly in the world. Like an oily gay musclebound soap opera. I feel its somewhat insulting as a boxing fan. Whats everyone think?just like tyson, it brings exposure, now you talk about wrestling being dumb, you must have missed out on a wrestler named steve austin who brought controversy to wrestling, and made it look as real as life is. don't shit on something that legendary as boxing is, because wrestling had been around just as long as boxing, and the wwe formerly known as the wwf has provided many great moments in entertainment and like boxing, although scripted, has had great wrestlers pass away, so until you experience being on the road 250 days out of the year with literally no off time unless you pass away or injure yourself, don'c criticize wrestling. by the way, floyd is the best fighter in boxing, not one of the best, get it right fool.

Floyd really know's how to promote himself, this will only give him more fans and he will continue to bring in the big PPV numbers.

Louis, Ali, Walcott, Tyson, Holyfield, etc. They've been doing this for a while except it's usually not a little guy.

I think it's a good thing for boxing. Boxing is not as big as you would think. In part because of the huge corruption (even Discovery Channel has documentaries about the mobsters' involvement in the sport to this date) but also due to the bad quality of some matchups and fighters who have handpicked opponents.

Floyd is very smart. its good to make apperances like this. it lets the wrestling fans know more about him and want to see more. You're right about the WWE fans wanting to see more of Floyd. I checked a WWE forum earlier and a good chunk of the users said they would like to see Floyd actually appear on wrestling leading up until WrestleMania.

someone dominant is always a attraction, as soon as poeple hear he's the best and is undefeated they want to know why is that? But like the rules of power suggest : court attention at all cost- Negative or positive attention, any attention will do. its the cornerstone of power.

People were saying the same shit when he went on Dancing with the Stars. It didn't hurt the business or publicity for the Hatton fight. This gets people talking about boxing. It makes people curious about it too. That can only be good for boxing. But then again, I also enjoy pro wrestling for what it is. Also remember that there was a rumor that Big Show was going to start boxing when he left WWE the last time. There may be an angle where a "staged" boxing exhibition becomes part of the storyline

Its just gonna put floyd out there for more ppl to see, as much as floyd fanatics like to admit it, not everybody knows who Floyd is, so this could only be good. Tyson of course was a household name in the 80s and still was known in the late 90s. Lets just hope whatever he does to get involved it doesnt come across shitty on t.v.

Ok, so i read a this entire thread and no one has mentioned this yet. Has anyone figured that WWE is trying to get both boxing and MMA fanbases seeing how Lesnar went to UFC...maybe Boxing is trying to get in on the WWE action aswell.

While he maybe looking for some new fans, I think he's doing this because he just wants to have fun. Tyson was VERY well paid for his stint in the WWF. A little trivia, the thing that broke Tyson and Don King up was when he found out how much of the WWF money King was keeping for himself. That was the beginning of the end of their relationship.
