2007 was a great year for 'The Cobra' because I did jobs on fighters like they'd never had jobs done on them before, despite being in with the best in the world. Just like I did a job on Henry Porras better Mikkel Kessler did a job on him, out in Hollywood on HBO Latino.
My business for most of 2007 was getting my knee sorted out before I started fighting for world titles. And I believe it's as strong as it'll ever be now and I can enter my prime in prime condition.
My big fight with dangerous Russian Dennis Inkin is being beamed live on ITV1 and Showtime USA, it's a prestigious WBC world super-middleweight title interim match and the winner will fight Joe Calzaghe, unless big Joe decides to dodge out.
Inkin beat me as an amateur in 1999 at an England-vs-Russia meet, but I dropped him heavily in the last round with my potent right uppercut punch and I've improved no end since then and am a far better pro than I was an amateur. I was rated three or four in the world as an am, but whatever.
So yeah, I mean, when I'm through with Dennis Inkin, the Carl Froch train wants Calzaghe, Hopkins, Pavlik, Taylor, Kessler, Wright or anybody else to try their hand out at actually grinding the train to a halt.
I'll fight Pavlik and Taylor on the same night and knock the pair of them out. Calzaghe hasn't fought anybody who can reduce his workrate, but he has to reach further to punch me than anybody and he'll eat up some potent right uppercuts for supper, he knows that and I know that, and that's why the fight hasn't and never will happen.

Froch is a bum. Lacy beats him :haha:
i seriously dout youve ever even seen him fight hes no bum thats for sure he might not be a world beater but hes no bum
Potentially he's the most dangerous, so you're right. Although that's assuming he gets a defence from somewhere.
Then there was that one overhead right a shot Reid managed to throw which stunned him for a moment. That makes me think if Kessler unloaded on him it may be game over??
He does have the best style to beat Calzaghe. I'm not saying he could do it, but he's maybe the most difficult mathup out there for Joe.

They must sell some strong crack in Nottingham, UK.
Well it is the gun capital of the UK at the moment isn't it, and crack and guns tend to follow each other around. I'd take Froch to beat Mundine by KO, but the pressers would be fantastic, two guys who genuinely believe that they are the best fighter pound for pound in the world (in their own minds they genuinely do!!!! Esp Mundine).
no one wants to fight Froche, he is a big risk for no reward.
He needs to fight some past it guys and work his way up to a world title asap before the parade goes by,
Froch doesn't want to fight anyone either. It's pretty inexcusable that he can be 30 years old and only now fight for a Number 1 contender spot. The irony is that, apart from Calzaghe and Kessler, he's miles better than most of the rest.

He needs his fists tp catch up with his mouth, but hes definitely a good boxer, really onorthadox I'd like to see him in with mundiene but anyone of the top guys will do
That pic in the article looks so weird its actually named froch_robot and it is now my avatar lol.
As an Englishman, Froch is someone I should support.
He has a fair amount of talent, he punches well, as for his chin we'll have to wait and see. Most things there are to like, but then he opens his mouth....I struggle to like him. Orange Sneakers on the whole is a pretty good judge of fighter and I think (correct me if I'm wrong) has some connection to team Froch, so probably knows the man behind the fighter and that man may be ok, but he's not showing it through his persona.
Now you need confidence as a boxer, without self belief you're in the wrong game, but Frochy has serious delusions of grandeur. He's already 30, so he needs to rethink his strategy if he wants a larger fanbase outside of Nottingham.
Maybe he is deliberately moulding himself as a villan? Who knows, but the stuff he is spouting now should be saved until he has beaten Inkin.
