What 2008 fight deserves HBO 24/7 series?

Fuck no dog those guys ain't gonna give it their all in the ring. How about marquez and pac or vasquez and Marquez. Those guys are gonna leave it all in the ring. Those other turds ain't. Vasquez vs Marguez would be a great fight but not a good 24/7 show, I think they both respect each other and none speak english. Marquez and Pac would be good cuz of the storyline of the first fight, again tho none speak english. Zab vs Mayorga would shatter records, Mayorga speaks no english and no one cud care less. I swear he'd smoke a whole pack in front of the camera while Zab talks about how pretty he is

i think the best fight that schould have a 24/7 series is hopkins vs joe, both guys are talkers and true to there sport. It also gives you USA fighter vs european fighter. it would be fun to watch. migh not be a fun fight but at least the serier would be very cool to watch. what do you guys think deserves a series? Hopkins Calzaghe would be tv gold. Speaking of tv gold wouldn't a reality tv show based aroud Roger Mayweather (with subtitles of course) and extended family be a quality show.

I think they should have Joe Mesi fight the winner of next week's unification fight, and do 24/7...Mesi - Klitschko/Ibragimov... They would then license all the music from Rocky IV, and they would make Joe Mesi run up mountains and shit. It is a very intriguing idea and could capture the mainstream audience.

malignaggi - hatton.... or malignaggi cotto i really find it hard to see cotto carry his weight in entertainment outside of the ring. they might focus in his relationship with his uncle wanting to much credit

I think if the PBF-Oscar fight goes as planned, then I think it would have to be them just because of all the drama which would be involved. Talk about a soap opera, lol, but besides that, I definetly would say Calzaghe-Hopkins. There would be plenty of drama in that as well.

24/7 is a promotional tool used for mega fights, any 24/7 will have to include either Floyd or Oscar because they cross over to everybody. I dont see HBO putting that much time into Joe and Bernard since the fight isnt even on PPV so how would they reap the benefits, and Margarito is not known to casual boxing fans so no fight hes in will be a "mega-fight" as of now. next 24/7 will probably be Mayweather-DelaHoya II. but a 24/7 series could introduce a new fighter to mainstream media

As long as cotto isn't in one it will be entertaining. Zab V Shane would be a good one if the fights made. I like the B-Hop idea he would promote it well not sure about Joe though. Same with Tarver Woods. Tarver would do all the promoting. Yep, Joe is on the shy side but his dad is as mad as a box of frogs, I would pay money to see Enzo vs Roger Mayweather in a shouting match fucking hillarious

I would say Cotto-Margarito but both guys really need to speak english for the show to be entertaining and for the viewers to really relate to the fighters.

So do you guys rule out the possibility of a Cotto-Mayweather showdown in late '08? considering floyd is fighting oscar in september. i dont see him fighting again till 09
