I don't want to hear whether Floyd or Cotto should be #1... so we will just put them in the top two spots.
What about #3?
There is tons of talent in the division that could easily be the #3 spot, considering almost everyone has lost to someone else.
Let's hear it!
Mosley is clearly number 3 with his performance against Cotto. It can be argued that he won that fight, so he's on par with the best in the division. All the others have not proved themselves, which was evident with the exposure of Paul Williams on Saturday night.
this is what i thought.. Had he been given the decision there wouldn't have been much uproar.
Mosley is prob 3rd tbf
but i thought i give ricky a vote been as tho no1 else did.
why is he so underrated?? hes a good fighter - not the most skillful of boxers but he's a proper brawler with a lot of heart and courage. im not sayin his 1 of the best cos tbf hes got a lot more fights in him to prove himself of that value but he is, amongst Joe Calazghe, the best of britain and thats gotta count for a little credit.
anyways back on subject - Mosley is 3rd in my eye, excitin boxer to watch.
alfonso gomez :D

real talk now:
its really difficult.....i think margarito beats every one of the other guys except for mosley who would be a toss up.....he Cost himself the williams fight IMO by trying to box more....stupid ass...i hate the guy but he has a shot at cotto and floyd with his strenght, chin, size, ring cutting skills...
williams is just a freak with 0 boxing skill......
quntana is very good and by recent results standards he would be #3...but i feel it wrong to give him that place when he got destroyed so bad by cotto...
mosley did much better against cotto and beat collazo....but he looked so shit in teh cotto fight in terms of skill that i have doubts on ranking him #3 even though i do think he would beat everyone but maybe margarito...
id rank the guys listed teh following right now:
3-Mosley
4-Margarito
5-Quintana
6-Williams
7-Cintron
8-Clottey
9-Judah
10-Hatton
11-Collazo

mosley, imo.....
I voted Shane Mosley.
He's accomplished more at 147 than even Cotto and Floyd; his loss to Cotto was a close one, and I don't think the others could've beaten him that night
I voted for Margarito, simply because I believe he is the 3rd best welterweight right now. Almost all of them have a loss in the last 12 months, so that seemed like as good a reason as any.
I voted Cintron, but I didn't mean to.
I think I would have picked Quintana, because his only loss was to Cotto, and everyone else pretty much has a loss to someone else. Mosley is probably a better pick though, now that I think about it.
