once taylor gets hit real hard will he revert back to that nervous energy from the first fight ... and to get another beating like the first fight but worse, can end this guys career or damage him even worse... any thoughts
I have a feeling we are going to see a corner stoppage as soon as Taylor gets in any kind of trouble to prevent a second devestating knock out.
I believe Taylor will once again go for an early knockout because he sure as hell isn't getting away from Pavlik for 12 rounds. Taylor is not a bicycle fighter and we know he can't lay on the ropes against Pavlik. He knew this during the first fight and little has changed except for the 6 pounds that he hopes will give him more power somehow. Obviously Taylor is a threat to Pavlik but you would be crazy to favor him again.
i think kelly is going to knock taylor out again but i don't think thats the end of his career there are alot of good fights out there around that weight class
I truly think Jermain is better than ever. I think he's put the past in the past, and I definitley see Jermain winning this one. That's not to say Pavlik isn't dangerous, but Taylor has made the changes needed.
We all know how Kelly is going to fight this one. He isn't getting any better Jermain knew how to fight him in the last fight, and almost finished him but Kelly Pavlik was holding too much. JT got tired.
I got Kelly for this...Jermain still has a great chance of winning it though.. but has he taken a step back by swapping back to his first ever trainer?
taylor beat hopkins, wright, spinks, etc. 2 losses to one guy won't stop him. oscar lost to shane twice, shane lost to wright, forrest twice, hopkins to taylor twice - and they continued.
taylor will continue to fight win or lose
i got pavlik. i dont think what happened in the second round will happen again. i also dont think pavlik will knock him out as bad but i still think hes gunna win by a late ko.
No, Pavlik will still have his belts, so when Pavlik gets knocked out, he will still be the middleweight champion and will destroy anyone at 160.
Pavlik has about 1% chance of winning this fight but you never know anything is possible in boxing.
How does the man who knocked Taylor out last time only have a 1% chance?
If Taylor wins, he deserves all the respect in the world because its mentally very hard to come back so soon against an opponent that ripped your soul out of you in your very last fight.
i dont think it will end his career, unless he has some sort of mental breakdown. guys have lost to fighters twice and still fought. he might just have to go back to the drawing board again and figure out whats up. i think he'll still go after top name competition if he loses. i just hope its a good fight all in all.
