I agree with that, I'm specifically talking to those who now say that Cotto's victory over Quintana looks even more impressive now and that Williams got exposed tonight. Bottom line, if Margarito is ok losing to Williams then Williams should be ok losing a close decision to Quintana. no its not. The williams fight was a toss up between margarito. It was a tough fight for margarito and still should have one it. paul in both fights was the only fighter that looked he was in a fight. Plus williams was a huuge favorite against quintana he had no business losing this fight the way he did.

There is no way Margarito would get anywhere near Quintana. That southpaw style is to slick for him and have him missing more than what Williams was missing. Its just simple.

margarito didnt use any movement at all. he was an easy target for williams. quintana on the other hand used alot of lateral movement and made williams look less than adverage. after seeing this fight, i think mayweather and cotto both beat williams pretty easy Right but Tony never moves, man. The Williams tonight would have been killed Cotto. His claim to fame was his incredible punch output over 100+ per round which all but vanished tonight. If he can't produce those numbers because of weight issues then he's done because he doesn't have a lot of power. He won the margarito fight by throwing and landing more not by causing more damage which was done by Tony. He just looked really bad tonight lacking workrate as well as hunger/heart and deserves some flak for a very poor performance. Cotto has been the most consistent so far despite a few shaky moments during fights and should be ranked the highest at 147. Yeah he looked bad tonight. Much like Tony did against him. But it does say something about their respective opponent's performance (The Williams who threw 1300 punches and the Quintana who was an accurate pot shot master). Yeah. I normally just don't bother with Triangle logic. There are too many styles that contrast in prospect fights. I dont think i have ever seen the Triangle theory proved CORRECT. It always gets shutdown. Idk why people still use it to predict fights...
