Gatti vs Diego corrales @ lightwieght

Who wins and how? I think this would be a gd fight Diego by KO

it would be a really good scrap and i think both would have their moments but i think chico (gos rest his soul) would KO Gatti late on

Come to think of it, I change my mind, I was thinking back to the 130 pound version of Gatti, the one with two victories over Tracy Harris Patterson. Gatti was at his very best during this time. He grabbed the IBF jr Lightweight title in the first fight. He boxed smartly and didn't foolishly go to war as he did in so many of his succeeding fights. And in the fights following his victories of Tracy, he seemed to fade, so yes, I changed my mind and pick Chico to win over Arturo at 135, based on success over quality of opposition. However, I believe an even earlier fight between the two at 130lbs would be the most competitive.

Very good fight, In thier primes, I think Gatti takes this one.

yeh but he didnt get up in the 2nd castilo fight so i think if he gets hit gd enough he wil stay down hopefully lol. But the chin difference is big tho but i think i would give corrales advantage jus a little by power cause there both kinda big for lightwieghts anyway. He did get up by the way... right at the count of 10.

been a gatti fan of course bein from jersey and around AC all the time. loved to watch him fight. big fan of corrales too. i would think chico would take it though by a decision or late ko. just my opinion. defintly would be a bunch of knockdowns.

WOW!2 Of my fav fighters of all time,i got goosebumps when i seen this no joke.It would of been one of the all time great fights.Would of been a trilogy with chico winning 2 ahha same here i have become a fan of gatti to bt i always liked chico. Gatti was a top 10 fighter. But Chico was a top 3 or 4 fighter.

I would agree. To risk the wrath of some fans, he was a C- fighter at best.

But I think he gets a little more credit than he should. Mainly because he was fun to watch, and involved in some wars. However, those wars were against no-so-great competition.

I've always wanted that fight to happen, and it made sense because Diego was having trouble making 135, Gatti was too small for 147

At lightweight I would give it to Corrales. About a week before Corrales died my brother and I speculated about this fight taking place. It could have taken place at JWW or WW and it would have been a great payday for both and a great fight for the fans.
