He wants to fight. The problem is that he really isn't worth much more than being a big name trial horse for prospects. Also TV networks are leary of televising a fighter in his 40's who really shouldn't still be fighting at all. And of course if there is no TV, there is no money. If Evander is still looking to fight for decent cash he may have to go to Europe and take on one of the endless list of prospects there for German TV money.
what a shame, the guy should hang em up already :(
is it official? he's hanging up the gloves or what? any news?

Holyfield can still beat guys like Golota, Mollo, Tua and even Valuev, I give him a great shot
** Well, slap 'em down again PAW.
Need a separate division for roided up long past its and their fan clubs. Even Tyson had the sense to retire and he could still pull the trigger. Poor Holy just plods around trying to remember what to do against anyone more than clubfighter or more retired than he is.

Holyfield can still beat guys like Golota, Mollo, Tua and even Valuev, I give him a great shot, he some how looks better now than he did before, he moves better and just overall is a bigger problem than given credit for, I think with enough wins over mediocre competition that Holyfield can earn another shot at a title, whether he wins though is a complete different story.
uh no he cant!
