We dont know what wouldve happen if Floyd fought Spaddy :slap: ( an undeafted prime title holder in his division) but we know what would happend if they sparred Floyd has a pattern of not fighting undfeated prime titlist in his division, no? Did we not know what would happen when Floyd fought Hatton, an undefeated prime titlist in the division below (and had previously vacated a title in the division Floyd was in)? I think you are one of the people who fault Floyd for fighting Hatton, because he wasn't good enough. But he did have the same credentials that you just listed for Spadafora, right?

I never really looked at it that way but now that I think about it you make a good point in regards to Mosley's record. And we obviously agree with Cotto being the most deserving for a fight with Mayweather. Your one of the better posters I've encountered here. If I could have I woulda sent you good K. :boxing: ;) Thanks bro. I do think he resume would be better if he had some credible opposition that he could have fought at 135... the best there was Stevie Johnston, but he failed to fight him, which is a shame. If he could have hung around and at least beat Castillo, that would have done wonders for his resume.

Even so, I have to say, Mosley's resume sucks... pretty badly. He didn't have any really great opponents at 135. He beat Oscar at 147, and then got wiped out by Forrest, and then lost a rematch. He should have lost to Oscar at 154, and then got wiped out by Wright, losing a rematch again. Then he beat a shot Vargas twice (one was close). Good win over Collazo at 147, but Collazo will likely never be more than just a contender/paper champion at 147. To be honest, I think Mosley's resume is one of the most overrated in the sport because of the first Oscar win. That said, I think Cotto has done more than enough to separate himself from the rest of the sport in regard to the most qualified and deserving Mayweather opponent. I never really looked at it that way but now that I think about it you make a good point in regards to Mosley's record. And we obviously agree with Cotto being the most deserving for a fight with Mayweather. Your one of the better posters I've encountered here. If I could have I woulda sent you good K. :boxing:

Mosley won that fight D... seriously. Watch it with the sound off. His punches were cleaner and much harder then Dela's and even had Dela in danger late with Body shots.... I THOUGHT Dela won that as well, I watch it with the sound down the following week and with out hearing Lampley and Merchant getting all excited at Dela's fluries , not too mention the crowd.. there was a big difference. I guess I'll have to rewatch it.

Fuck off. He was in shape and refreshed and confident off a beatdown of Mayorga. He still represented a significant threat @ light-middle, especially to a natural junior-welter. That version of Oscar @ light-middle is a more dangerous fight than that version of Mosley @ welter. Mosley holds 2 victories over Oscar... At 147 and at 154.

The Lack of Interest in this Cotto Margarito Fight in Vegas... Will Be Cotto's last fight in Vegas Unless it is against De La Hoya or Floyd... He should of had this fight in either Puerto Rico, Mexico, or New York. I blame Bob Arum for this, He is holding Cotto Back from being a star just like he did with Floyd... Cotto needs to Leave Arum, HE COULD do better by himself in my opinion.. first you complain about him fighting in new york,you say he needs to fight in vegas,and now that he does it you drop this gem.
