ROUND 1
Gorres getting the better of Darchinyan with good movement, jabbing and circling, Darchinyan lands a few punches but not much.
There's an exchange where Gorres slips and inexplicably, amazingly, with no punch being landed, gets a knokckdown called against him.
Darchinyan presses forward thinking he has an advantage but doesn't land anything.
A few bottles/cans/stuff being thrown into the ring, a LOT of booing.
10-8 Darch
damn Vic got robbed? i like Vic yo.. was he pissed though? "you respect me, eh? give me rematch" lmao that was some funny shit yo thats one guy that doesn't like to lose.
Your just like the pac nuthuggers, keep making those stupid articles that no one reads...
btw: has anyone told you that you look like the ninja turtles?.. no bullshit.
I have those round shoulders, true that. That's where the left hooks come from mama huevo. Don't make me call Alibata to punk you out again.
Nice attempt at stereotyping me, but I don't speak Tagalog. You probably know more from reading the Pinoy Lounge. How's that GED coming along? I love it when you talk about me as a writer, it shows that me doing well burns your soul. LOL.
That means I'm laughing at you, not with you.
thats what you think, look at Steward, by the expression of his face you can tell hes saying "wtf are you doing in a boxing gym? pacquiao isnt here"...
You look up for info on google and then you try and play like you know your shit in here.
I bet you think Gorres got robbed against Montiel... fuking pinoys, just by hearing the commentators you can easily tell that they dont know shit about boxing either... stick to pool...
Yes, Gorrres was ROBBED against Montiel.
Keep hating on Pinoys kid, were lovin it.
Check my sig. lol
and what does your intellect words that you say have to do with boxing? every time you say someshit you try and play smart but end up making no sense, calling one fighter an "expert" boxer, give me a fuking break.
You just managed to say nothing at all. Congratulations, and by the way, if you're going to try and approach me, do so by spelling all of the words correctly. I know it's a tough stretch, but try to show some semblance of class.
I find it fitting that you can only participate actively in conversations dealing with Antonio Margarito, Panchito Bojado, and Filipino fighters. I know you love reading Ronnie Nathanielsz's pieces, I'll give you his e-mail address so you can tell him how much you enjoy his pieces.
Now run along before I get Alibata to chase you around your neighborhood Mr. Scaredy Cat.
thats what you think, look at Steward, by the expression of his face you can tell hes saying "wtf are you doing in a boxing gym? pacquiao isnt here"...

Dude, you couldn't carry on an intelligent conversation with me or any of the more knowledgable posters here in this forum. Who are you to even approach anyone trying to enter my domain with your inferior intellect? How dare thee try to approach me on equal terms mama bicho.
close call i guess(cant w8 to see this on youtube) cant blame gorres, this guy has the skills to outslug anybody anytime, i think vic has lost a bit of his power. he should'av knock gorres out like used to do. an immediate rematch is interesting this time hopefully in the US maybe undercard for some good upcoming fights.
So was it a good fight or not????????? it sounded amazing
It was good but it had some difficult rounds to score. Definitely down the stretch Darchinyan had it, but alot of the early round, aside from the unusual call of the first round knockdown, were Gorres'. It was all about what you like.
I'd love to see a Donaire-Darchinyan rematch.
what you'd expect from these damn nuthuggers? fukin pinoys dont know shit about boxing.
I'm Filipino and I know more than you. How do you defend against this statement?
DEFINITELY check it out, I was on the edge of my seat every round, and it was 8am :D
The ref was some guy in his first title fight from New Zealand..
The announcers kept talking about him as if he was the reason Gorres lost..
Fact is he messed up two calls, the phantom knockdown benefiting Darchinyan in the first, and the KD no-call later on which cancelled the other bad call out. No complaints.

The Philippines is the safest country for a foreigner to fight in. You can't lose if you're a foreigner. Who was the referee, the ambassador to Japan?
lol sorry about that, horrible timing for the servers to go down huh
clear robbery, plain and simple.
that the filipino judge scored it for vic is a stupid excuse that shouldnt be used. this was a clear as day decision.
vic's rounds were obvious, gorres's rounds less obvious, if that makes sense.
ROUND 12
Crowd chanting for Gorres.
Gorres falls down again after a Vic attack, he doesn't have much left.
Vic trying to go for the knockout here.
Commetnators are funny. Before the 11th they were talking about a "good effort on behalf of the Phillippines" basically saying he alrady lost. Vic takes his foot off the pedal, their hope springs eternal, saying if Gorres lands a good shot he could take him out. Gorres keeps falling due to exhaustion, and they blame Vic for his "dirty tactics" and pushing. Then they blame the losing effort on the cut, which was insignificant. "If not for the cut he would've taken him down earlier."
Very sad and hilarious at the same time.
"Hometown decision may come in handy," theysay.
10-9 Darchinyan
ROUND 11
It seems like Vic is tiring or trying to save himself for the last round, letting Gores attack him although Gorres is spent as well. Not much power behind Gorres's attacks.
Darchinyan punches/pushes Gorres down, ref calls it a slip, no complaints here.
Gorres falls again, he seems really spent.
Very tough round to call, no one really did anything!
10-9 Gorres, maybe for pity.
You do realize the only pinoy judge scored it for Vic right? The aussie scored it a draw and I forgot where the other one is from.
Still, sounds like a great fight. Hope to see it soon.
sounds like a good fight for these little people. by the sound of it vic was robbed. was there a philippine judge in the fight? if there was then i agree with the thread starter that vic should've got the decision
