You obviously don't know how to score a fight.
The look on Chamber's and his corners faces told the whole story at the end of the fight. A generous score for Chambers would be 8-4.
I dont think it would be.
They are not called the championship rounds for nothing.
The current system is not flawless but at least every round is equal. Under your system you could end up punishing a fighter who has tried to attack from the start.
Povetkin is the overall winer of the fight. He fought hard and deserves the win, but round for round, I scored the fight a draw, which is why I am for a weighted scoring system where the later round count more than the early rounds.
That would be unfair.
6-6 Draw.
I think I figured out why all of McGirts fighters lose. I saw him steal Chambers confidence.
His confidence was allowing him to counter effectively, as soon as McGirt took that from him, he stopped countering.
...Wow, you have lost your fucking mind. Congratulations.
...This fight was at least 117-112 IMO and I have no loyalties to either man. Chambers sucks and he didn't even attempt to step it up when his corner told him he needed the KO to win. The heavies are better off without another Chris Byrd style boring turd like Chambers. He even has the obnoxious wife at ringside running her big fat mouth.
Round 12:
Mcgirt says he needs a knockout and Eddie is doing nothing. Povetkin lands some good right hands. Left hook. Right uppercut.
Both punches land. Eddie lands nothing because he throws nothing. He's pretty much giving it away. Povetkin bullies him in to the ropes and throws body shots. Then a good right by Povetkin. Then a good left hook. And a right hand.
Not all right in a row, but punches being thrown. Then Eddie throws a left uppercut on an angle, somewhat similar to the smash and a good duck by Povetkin. That was impressive.
It's over. Povetkin won.
115-113. Good fight. Close, but clear winner.
Round 11: Povetkin comes out doing what he does, but Eddie comes with a good right hand.
Povetkin now comes out with a 1-2, then hooks to the body. Throws a 4 combination punch and Eddie leans back, but not doing anything.
Povetkin is now throwing more punches and now landing more. The crowd finally gets excited.
Right hand. Left hand. Body. Body. More power shots for Povetkin. Povetkin bullrushes foward pushing Eddie into the corner and Eddie lands a right. Not enough to win it though.
105-104 for Povetkin. Close fight.
Round 10:
Povetkin comes out and throws more combinations and backs him up. It's mostly Povetkins round now. Eddie not really doing anything. Povetkin throws a good 1-2. Right hand the throws Eddie offbalance a bit by Povetkin.
1,2,3,4,5 punches thrown in a row by Povetkin. He's lands about 3 of them. Eddie did shit that round.
95-95 for Povetkin. Buddy Mcgirt really thinks Chambers is losing. No idea where that's coming from.
No, Winky moves his feet, Chambers hardly ever does.
Winky doesnt really move his feet, unless its a small hop backwards.
Unless youre looking at his older fights.
I wish I could see this fight, but I guess Ill have to wait...sounds like one of the type of fights people can see a lot differently based on how they score. I kind of have a feeling that the punchstats are going to favor Chambers in a lot of rounds, but Povetkin throws a ton more punches.
which always means that people are going to disagree with scoring.
Round 9:
Eddie lands some good uppercuts and rights in the first 30 seconds. Good stuff. Povetkin tries to go up with his workrate, but eddie blocks. Povetkin not trying to do anything and Chambers lands good clean shots in the round.
1:15 left and Chambers is winning the round. Now Povetkin lands a good little right inside. More 1-2's by him.
Eddie throws a left hook and an uppercut on the inside. Povetkin throws two jabs, but miss completely.
Clearly Eddie Chambers round. 86-85 for Eddie.
very close round... neither did very much.... i can see how this one would cause controversy..... i'm going with a 10-10 round here.... 86-86 draw thus far.
Round 8:
Povetkin comes foward and lands a right as Eddie leans back.
Eddie threw couple left hook, but went back to blockng. Povetkin keeps throwing combinations. He's winnng most of the round, but now Chambers comes back with a good right. Now he throws his jab out there.
Povetkin plots foward more and throws more combinations. Nothing really lands, but chambers just sit there and does nothing.
Wait nevermind, good rights by Chambers. Now a good left counter.
Povetkin now is back to his normal game and throws combos and two left hooks. Chambers now trying to throw combos, but Povetkin slips them all.
However good right hand by the end out the eigth!
Chambers round because he landed the more signifcant punches.
76-76.
