"Americans are better than fighters from England, period. In every weight class, period. I'm going to continue to show that on April 19th. I'm going to stand by my claim with a victorious win. We have the best fighters and since they have a big boxing community over there, I'm going to go on record and put it out there because they won't like it and I don't give a damn. We have the best fighters in every weight class with or without belts, they're all from America."
He also talks more about his fight with Calzaghe and discusses Roy's win over Trinidad. He seems to contradict himself in a lot of things he's saying.
Here's the rest...

And see what I mean about American fans. Thick as pig shit.
Learn something about the sport then talk to me.
Oh wait. This must be one of those "jokes" when you're clearly wrong but you play it off like you were joking so you don't look like an idiot. Ahhh...
Someone doesn't watch boxing.
See what I mean about UK fans. Make sh*t up just to suit themselves and their country. Very insecure.

America doesn't have the top fighter in any division.

Boxers vs population with a larger population dominating all weight classes falls down due to the following factors:
1) Boxing may not be the number 1 combat sport in a country e.g. India, China
2) Racial types, the percentile of Indians and Chinese that could make Middleweight and above are very small (yes there is a NBA player from China, but so there should be with a population of 1 Billion)
3) Its not so much the size of a country as its racial mix, so USA and UK, with mixed populations are more likely to have a number of potential atheletes at diffferent weight classes
4) Certain Smaller countries will always challenge certain weight classes, e.g The Latin American countries seem to churn out hundreds of great fighters, it seems to be in the blood, so even if your country has some good guys from featherweight to weltereight, they are always going to have a Latin American fighter breathing down their neck.
It would be interesting to see a World Champion per 100000 of population index, someone must have done that research surely????
its the african blood in us. hehe. acording to our history ( puertorican ) those guys took no shit from no one.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Look were doing ok, a lot of world champions. We just love boxing man why does it have to be a competition all the time?
I will hold my hands up and say Yanks are generally and historically better at boxing but really who gives a fuck?
I'll watch an Arab fight a Swede if they're great fighters
actually, boxing is a bigger and more mainstream sport from what I hear through out the U.K. so land mass is really no excuse.
Look at Puerto Rico
It's a very small island, yet they manage to pull a lot of great champs.
Of course, yes, the United States will always have more champs because of it's size.. but if size only was the case, China and Japan or India would be dominating boxing.
It all depends on the interest of the sport in the country.
it aint a mainstream sport. it's banned in a few places infact.

And there are about a million and a half other factors...
