Jim Lampley is still stuck in 2007....
"He had Miguel Cotto well ahead against Zab Judah earlier this year."
and...
"He scored Miguel Cotto over Paulie Malignaggi here in the Garden last year."
Corely needs money. He's lost some speed, otherwise he was never that great. He just caught Cotto and Floyd with good punches. He was getting his ass kicked for 90% of each fight.
That's always been my impression of Corley. He's a tough son-of-a-bitch who's nearly impossible to crack, technically flawed, but has the ability to catch you with some solid power.
This kid looks GOOD,he's like an agressive Cory Spinks,he could be a name at Light Welter
Definitely at light Welter. I can't echo the same about the Welterweight division though, not yet at least. I know Kellerman and Lampley commented that he could fit well there but I think it's entirely too early to throw him in with that crowd.

Dominant round for Alexander. Chop Chop looks a bit tired, Alexander has good stamina, he's been going the same pace since the first. Corley needs to knock him out.
I think Chop Chop should retire. He's been serving as a "gatekepper" for the better part of his career. It's not such a close fight it can be disputed in any way, but it's not a Mayweather/Gatti either.
