None of these fights do much for boxing as far as legit titles or legacies are concerned, but which has the most "sideshow/train wreck appeal" to you? With the announcement of Mayweather-DLH II looming, I find myself more interested in this weekend's circus at MSG than a sparring-retread payday for those two.
Both fights are for entertainment only (read: no actual significance in boxing circles), but at least Roy-Tito is a fun idea that we haven't seen before and should provide much more action. PBF-DLH II? Yawn...
Which do you guys prefer?
Come on now, the point is you have to pick one.
I know "Neither" would win in a landslide among hardcore fans, but my point is that with PBF-DLH II inevitable, it makes something like Roy-Tito look more intriguing.
If PBF-Cotto and DLH-Margarito/Winky/Forrest/whomever were made, Roy-Tito would be a blip on the radar. With an underwhelming sequel made instead, this weekend's fight actually looks better.
How about an option for "Neither"
That would be my first choice too. But at least the result of RJ-Tito is somewhat intruiging, even if it will be a lower level of boxing quality.
this is like picking between two bad presidential nominees - but as far as intrigue goes, then i think the obvious choice is tito / roy - we've seen the shit drip from the canvas that floyd and oscar shared, i'm not interested in that ever again.
That's my thinking too. Jones-Tito in the least should provide fireworks. PBF-DLH II will be very similar to the first fight, and because of another layoff and more aging, DLH will not be able to be as competitive as he was the first time around.
PBF's potshots and quick combos will start much earlier in the rematch, and it will be academic by round 8, after Floyd has won 7 rounds.
yeah i agree... for someone that can adapt so quickly in the ring... considering he already fought de la hoya... he ll know the game plan from the very start

Couldn't care less about either of them.
More intrigued by Jones-Tito, because I am expect a conclusive/decisive result.
I think Oscar-Floyd II will play out just like the first fight......not a whole lot to distinguish between the two, & no one coming away the better for it.
My thoughts exactly. I'm afraid Roy will blitz Tito, but then again this is cautious Roy we're talking about, who has never gone for the KO out of the gate except for the Griffin rematch.
I am a Tito fan, so I'm rooting for him, but I hate the style matchup. It's all about landing the big one and hoping enough power is there to make a difference. I'm afraid that even if he lands clean he won't hurt Roy because he's at 170 and older.
I prefer RJJ vs Tito, because its kinda up in the air. I know RJJ is the favorite, but realistically its an awkward two people to be fighting @ an awkward weight (for tito at least) & you just don't know how it will play out. Its more of a mystery. Flyod vs ODLH, I know what to expect, and frankly don't want to watch it again.
