Three fighters can beat Floy

Has Mayweather ever beaten a pure volume puncher? A puncher with no boxing skills and overrated power such as Margo, haha.

I don't think Margarito has much of a chance to be honest. Cotto might be able to win some rounds boxing (early, because he would surprise Mayweather) and then win some rounds late brawling after he gets going. That could be a decision for Cotto. Cotto is honestly the guy who could KO Mayweather too... his body shot can be lethal. I would still pick Mayweather, but I would be nervous for Floyd losing. I'm not sold on Williams. Mayweather's defense would nullify Paul's sloppy ass volume punching with no pop. People are so blinded by that. It's unproven and unbelievable that so many are actually crediting him as the one with the arsenal to beat Floyd. His only advantage is his size. His fight certainly is not his advantage.

Oscar simply cannot at this stage. But Williams, Margarito and Cotto can all beat Floy. Williams with boxing and volume of punching would control Floy and keep him at range and force floy to take the risks. Cotto could brutalize floy to the head and body, floy would not be able to hold him off. Margarito can slaughter floy with his power, relentless assaults, and height and reach would jack up floy on the ropes and eventually beat him down. Now skillwise these three are not necessarily better. and with floy refusing to fight any of these three, floy's supporters can just say oh well floy will beat them all, he has more skills which pay da bills. but floy knows this, knows he can lose to these three and will duck and dodge all three. these three will beat floy. just like Roy, everyone thought roy was superman, no one had the skills to beat him. but roy knew who could beat him and dodged em. roy tried to dodge tarver but tarver relentlessly followed roy and taunted him and forced him to fight. and roy fell to pieces to Tarver. floy will fall to pieces to Williams Cotto and Margarito but floy will not make the mistake roy made he will duck and dodge Williams Cotto and Margarito. All three can and will beat floy. but floy has more skills and he is better, but sometimes the better fight will lose to the hungrier stronger determined guys which are Williams Cotto and Margarito who are being and will continue to be ducked and dodged. Can beat floyd but may not beat floyd. I say miguel has the best chance.

They can all give Floyd troubles no doubt, but what will happen in the ring, has to be seen in reality. While those 3 obviously can give trouble to Floyd, it's not to say Floyd can't give them trouble back. I think if anything Williams is the most dangerous fight. He's just so damn tall, I think it'll put Floyd at a disadvantage he wouldn't be comfortable at all. But let's get real. He's used to these huge paychecks. He'll fight Oscar 5 times winning every rd in each fight, if he's collecting 15 million a fight. Now why would he face danger for less money? Floyd is money first, legacy second. It would certainly appear that way. Shameful, IMO.
