Joe Calzaghe's 0 Will Go

If he finally signs the contract and it's official that is. The guy has never fought on American soil and when he does it will sting for the rest of his career. First time in American and a 1 on his loss column. Ohhh the excuses.........I didn't adjust to the climate in America yadda yadda yadda. Now this will be one ugly fight. With Calzaghe's (queer fighting out of spider webs) style and Hopkins's defensive, one-punch-with- head-coming-in-and-clinch style.....this will be real ugly. You will not see any real action. Every punch landed will look uneffective on both sides. But who is the King of Ugly fights? Who benefits more from that? Answer: HOPKINS Winky looked real good against Tito, he looked very competitive landing shots against Taylor. But against B-Hop, he wasn't effetive at all. The jab wasn't working. Hopkins stunk up the place and took a close decision. That's what will happen here folks. Hopkins by a close ugly decisoin. After the fight, calzaghe and his stans will cry robbery and all kinda other excuses. I CAN'T WAIT

BUMP....take a look at that statement above. I was almost right in how the fight was gonna go. All except the OFFICIAL SCORES/OUTCOME: Kessler is a basic European fighter. He has good fundementals and that's all. There is no way to debate this except compare both their performances against Calzaghe. Once Hopkins enforces his will on Calzaghe and makes the fight ugly and neutralizes Joe's strenghts and makes all the rounds hard to score, you will see who the better fighter is between Kessler and Hopkins. All I'm saying is that this will go to the judges and it will be as close as it can get. It will be hard to score and Hopkins will probably pull it off by a close decison that will be debated for a long time.

he lost to jermain taylor twice lost to jones tarver is overrated delahoya and trinidad are welterweights glen johnson overrated wright is his best win and he fought wright at 170 when wright is a 154 fighter bernard fought his whole carrer at 160 and never not got around to fighting wright but fights him at a weight almost 20 pounds over his best weight limit You have just discredited Bernard Hopkins's entire career as a fighter yet you expect Joe to get credit for beating him???? At age 43 of all???? You need to step your game up man. That kindergarden writing isn't gonna win you a debate.

bernard neutrilized winky's jab by clinching when ever winky would try to start his offense.i don't know what bernard did to win that fight you barely ever see a clean punch land but that has to be the ugliest fight i ever seen Exactly. Hopkins made that fight as ugly as it is. It was to his advantages to make it as ugly as possible. Winky was just way off his game in that fight due to what Hopkins did. If Hopkins can do that to a guy like Winky, just imagine what he will do to Joe. Winky is way more skilled then Joe Calzaghe.:banana:

Winky would absolutely destroy Calzaghe Winky would absolutely win the fight. That shell defense would make Calzaghe's wide slapping punches look even more ridiculous when he isn't landing shit. Winky wouldn't school him like he did Tito but his jab would win him at least 7 to 8 rounds. Winky, another guy who cannot be dominated.

Two signs a poster is insecure about their argument and/or losing a debate. 1.) They accuse the other poster of never having been inside the ropes of a boxing ring.. 2.) They ask when the other poster began watching boxing.. 3.) They start name calling.. retard, ***, noob.. and apparently "bellend.".... IMO Calzaghe's resume leaves much to be desired, which would be fine but unfortunately, his fans love to act like he's the second coming of Christ. With that said, save for a slim puncher's chance I think he'd beat Miranda handily, and Tarver I don't give much credit.. but everyone else on that list could be a pickem. Agreed 100%

OK Vladimir, consider the following scenario (I'm not saying its going to happen, but amuse me) Joe C absolutely schools Bernard, I mean really makes a fool of him (remember we are talking hypothetically) will you give Joe props, or will you post that Bernard aged overnight? If the shoe was on the other foot and Joe gets beat (with two hands intact), no excuses I would put Bernard up on a pedastool. Hypothetically speaking if he were to dominate Hopkins, I would give him major credit because Hopkins is a guy I think that cannot be dominated no matter who the opponent is. Won't happen though.........is that the answer you were looking for?

And if he gets countered (like he did against Kessler), he'll change tactics. He'll start backing Hopkins up by working the jab and throwing it straight down the middle. Keeping out of trouble with a hand and foot-speed that Hopkins cannot match and has showed little indication lately that he'd be capable of dealing with. For some reason you seem to think that all Calzaghe can do is swing like a mad-man. Hopkins is better then Kessler. He has better defense along with the ability to counter off of that defense. And yes I think Joe is overrated. He will not look very good against Hopkins........guaranteed. Hopkins looked good against Trinidad and Tarver, Joe looked very good against Lacy. Doesn't mean a thing. The matchup to me is a ugly fight. Because Hopkins will make it ugly.

I criticize the latter half of Mayweather's career a lot.. but atleast he had a competitive and exciting beginning.. Corrales, Castillio.. Who is Calzaghe's Corales and Castillio? In the end Calzaghe and his minions will have what they want.. an undefeated record that means nothing to anyone outside of Wales and his most devoted fans. Hopkins's defense was the first thing to take Winky Wright's jab away. Ever. No one else had figured out how to neutralize Winky's jab. That right there means Hopkins has one HELL of a defense. This is his Grand American Introduction!!...BUT his next fight better be half decent. Happy we may have to fly out to Vegas draped in American Flag's or dressed like Apollo creed just so the Cal-NutHuggers don't Jizz all over the Slot Machines
