as mean as it sounds i was glad to see his ass layed out like that. all that pretty boy talk on the contender show with little to back it up, he deserved it

I much as I enjoy watching Miranda, Pantera should avoid Kelly Pavlik like the plague. Pavlik is getting better in each successive fight while Miranda looked more or less his normal old self. I think Miranda has to improve significantly before getting back in with the champion... ...I tend to agree with this post. That knockout was impressive as hell though. The way Banks hung there for a bit was kind of scary.

He can't beat Pavlik because Pavlik punches harder, faster and has a good height advantage but he will tear Pascal a new one.

Miranda is the fuckin man. But i dont think he'll do any better against Pavlik. He really isnt much when he's going backwards, even power wise. A couple of times in rounds 1 and 2 of their fight, Miranda got some room in from of him and loaded up on some BOMBS. But for the most part, he was going backwards and didnt have a devestating punch. However, against guys like PASCAL, he WOULD be going forward, and Pascal would be open to that right hand like he was last night. Its a very interesting fight htough

t was a nice KO but somewhat overrated. I think it looked great cause the way his body was hangin balanced on the ropes but we've all seen better plenty of times. The guy did get back up on his feet at the end and walked out. yeah but thats part of the KO. the AFTERMATH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it doesnt matter that Banks was bum. Banks was doing enough to side step and try to box. its not like he was just standing infront trying to trade the whole time.

Miranda may not have tons of skill, but he has devestating power, and more importantly, knows where and when to implement that power. After watching Pascal get hurt twice by an absolutle nobody, I have to think Miranda will finish him off before round 5.
