The important thing to recognize is that Mexican and PR fighter s are the best in the world. Latino's dominate boxing and it has shown in the past 30 years. Boxing in Mexico and PR is not just a sport but a way of life for some. Props to both sides and to my PR homies. Much respect and much love.

the two countries are the best in boxing along the US. Mexico right know has more profetional active boxers than we have. But if we look in history PR has a more diversified trayectory in boxing. Along the US PR is the only nation that has a champ in almost every divition in boxing including heavyweight. Also in recent years we have dominated in amatauer boxing including 4 or 5 in the panamericans games and 3 olimpic medals so we did better than cuba and only trailing the US. Right know we have three champs in Cotto,Calderon,Kermit Cintron and its very possible that in the very near future the 4 in Juanma Lopez. Right Know PR boxing its in a transition to new stars and theres a lot of new great prospects including the ones than won medals in the olimpics. like 3 or 4 years ago we have like 5 or 6 champs at the same time in very difrents categories. Ivan calderon, Nelson Dieppa, Manny Siacca, Felix Trinidad, Daniel Santos, Jhon Ruiz. So that said a lot of PR boxing. Its very though to make a prediction to determined whos better. But if a goes to boxing style PR boxers are more fundamentaly sound.

I'm A Mexican American So Of Course I Voted For Mexican Fighters, But In Reality, Both Mexican And Rican Fighters Are Great Fighters, Both Have Alot Of Machismo Running Threw The Veins, It's In The Gens Baby. Nothing I Like Better Then A Mexican And A Puerto Rican Fighting.

There are great mexican fighters and a whole lot of them, can't really compare Mexico wins if its straight up but per capita/p4p PR which is about 2% the size of Mexico is better. My all time favorite is Panamanian, Duran......but many many of my current and past favorites have been Mexican, Vazquez, Marquez, Morales...shit I'm Puerto Rican and they are highly respected by my uncles, father...etc. Its partially because of there style I guess which is addictive, more its Spartan like they usually go out with there shield or on it.
