Mayweather Wants To Visit England

I went with my heart when I thought Ricky would win and got into the pantomime of "Hating" Mayweather. But after Floyd spanked Ricky I must admit I had to accept that Motherfucker was the real deal. I have nothing but respect for Floyd and hope I get chance to be at one of these dinners. Me too.......

Floyd Mayweather and Ricky Hatton will get together again next year in a Manchester - re-match - at a sportsman's dinner! The world's best pound-for-pound fighter, Mayweather, is determined to come back to Britain and this time he wants to be remembered as a good guy. In September, Hatton and Mayweather held promotional press conferences in London and Manchester but the American was booed and jeered every time he opened his mouth. On Wednesday in Las Vegas, Hatton and Mayweather were due to get together at the American's five million dollar mansion but Mayweather overslept after a long night on the tiles and the meeting fell through. Hatton said: "I've seen Floyd in a different light and he just seemed to change after the fight. "I've heard he's planning to come to Britain and I would definitely hook up with him again. "It's no secret I want a re-match and perhaps we can sit down and talk about it." There was a shift in attitude towards the flamboyant and often outspoken Mayweather in the hours after his fists ruined Hatton's dream. He said: "Ricky never let any of his fans down and that is the type of fighter I am. "I want to come to England and get a bit of that myself. Floyd really does seem lika a generally nice person when he's not selling tickets yeah thats really it... when its fight time... hes not gonna be nice, hes a fighter and he wants that edge.... but after the competition is done theres no need to act like that... and he doesnt

He did get a applause as walked from the ring after the fight, even went and kissed a UK flag that a person in the crowd had hanging over the stand lol.

I'm sure Mayweather will get a better reception if he ever returns to the UK but I wouldn't expect any bands at one of those dinner events.

I dont think any1 hates Mayweather the reason people booed him was because the whole thing was a pantomime with a good guy and bad guy. not sure id want to have dinner with someone who knocked me out though.
