Which Fighter's style did u Originally model yourself on ? when i 1st started up Boxing i tried to emulate Ray Leonard & Muhammad Ali lateral movent in & out use the jab draw leads & counter etc
recently i have been working on defence ,i try to emulate that Crab like defence of Floyd with a strong emphasis on countering with the right hand & uppercuts & trying to stay in the pocket without getting hit whilst getting off with counters, Im just leanring it im not saying i can do it LOL its always worth learing this type of thing though defence to set up offence
i've been boxing since i was 12, i'm 30 now. i devoted my early style to julio cesar chavez. i've taken much punishment due to the fact that i'm an inside fighter. inside fighting looks ugly but is very effective and i've scored many knockouts due to body shots. within the last 8 years i've mixed a lil of that whitikier defence and have become a strong counter puncher in the process. i'm looking to retire whithin the next year or so to start training my son, he's 8 and at the perfect age to get him going. i'm planning to train him with a style kinda like a johnny tapia, but with alot more head movement and a more hurtfull jab. if he's anything like his old man he'll take a good punch and dish it out just as well.
A various mix of different tools form different fighters for exampls... i have taken the check hook and poor counter form Mayweather, the way Kostya Tszyu messures with his left to find the perfect place to land his big right, head movement and faints from nigel benn, the dip down to the left and come back with a big left hook from Castillio (like the one he laned on Corrales when he first knocked him down in their first fight) and the sholder roll defence from james toney, plus various other things from different fighters, but mainly like to be fast - accurote & cute.
Tito Trinidad the way he kinda moves his head around before punching and kinda jumps around and put the pressure on the right leg to unleaseh a left or a str8 Right hand
But im not really a fighter cuz i don't box or anything but i wannag et into it to get in shape and if all goes well i can go professional or amateur

i'd say barrera, nice and relaxed, really subtle head movement and i love throwing the left hook to the body. I've tried that mayweather defence, it works a treat against boxers without much experience! divad are you an active boxer?
i fought Ameteur & then i give it up for a long time now i wanna get bck into it
Im am in training i have been for the last 7/8 weeks running etc trying to get down in weight & what not i was over 168 when i started i am no about 140 & i should be going to the gym tomorrow for the ist time in weeks
Nate Campbell tried to imitate Mayorga too. :nonono:
hahahahaha!
I thought I made same bad decisions, but this guy deserves an honorary mention in the Darwin awards!!!........
i try'd to copy roy jones jr i got good movement and a strong right hand,
but i dont have his speed of hand or foot when coming fowards so now i go for the bhop/calzaghe style hands up keep my feet moving, keep the jab going, step in with the the 1-2 or a combo and move out to the side
im tryin this but my defence needs alot of work

everyone has there own style, but I think subconcouslly I developed a Joe Frazier / Trinidad style. I like coming in like joe, with the kinda close toegther bushwacker arms moving up and down defense. My Left hook and jab are my best punches too.
I never model myself on anyone they model themselves on me. I can fight every style and take things from all martial arts and boxing. My style is called Dirty Cunt Style.
