Today at a press conference on the beach in Hollywood Fl, Edison and Jean almost got into a huge fight. Jean was speaking crap about Miranda and Pantera got up behind him. Jean turned around and kept speaking and Miranda shoved him into the podium.
Jean stood up and called him a 'Maricon Cabron'. Miranda's team had to hold him back or there would have been fists flying. Edison said 'I take my job seriously. You stand there and keep talking shit and these people are going to get a free show'
I tell you what. I thought these guys were just trying to build the fight, but I really think they hate each other.
Fixed it for you
Did you see my thread entitled for you?
It's probably 4 or 5 pages back now, but I wanted to know if you knew anything about Samuel Miller, another Colombian hard-hitting prospect. Write back there if you know anything. Thanks!
Banks doesnt help his cause really. Whats he known for? Being a contender loser. The only reason I say this is, it wasnt long ago and everyone was talking about how he was going to be the future of the middleweight divison. I dont think he is a championship fighter.
In all honesty, I think this is a tune up to regain his confidence and to get re-adjusted at super middleweight. I think he made the right choice because if you are gonna have some tune-up/getting used to the division fights with nobodys you might as well make it with a well known nobody. Anyway, It's not like it matters because this fight is setting up what promises to be a great fight with Jean Pascal and from their the doors are wide open for either one of them.
Pascal's English is better than he gives himself credit for. I have an interview with Miranda going up tonight probably.
Yes, he speaks pretty well.
Oh, and by the way. Real nice article on the other thread. As always you come though with some nice material.

This will be his last 'easy' fight. He will be back on HBO after this (or SHO) fighting Pascal or someone else. Look at his streak before Pavlik. He deserved 1-2 'comeback' fights after that rough schedule and beating!

True. That is why Miranda has said he wants to prove to everyone he is still a champion and wants to show his power at 168lbs in this fight against Banks.
he will finish banks no doubt
You have to have a solid reputation built before to can have a bad night. And have it completely forgot.

Yea, crazy to me. One off night against Pavlik and people dont see past it. That OK... Its boxing. Pantera will prove them all wrong.
If ESPN gets Miranda/Pascal then that would be GREAT for us. I get Showtime and HBO but many people don't; so to see Wilson/Flores and Miranda/Pascal on basic cable would be great for ESPN and for boxing. But then again, I'm not too sure Miranda gets by Banks all that easy. If Banks boxes this could be a upset.
Forgot about that fight between Flores and Ding-a-Ling man being on ESPN. That's a good fight for ESPN. It makes sense though since Wilson is kind of like the poster boy for FNF.
