Here's a guy who's biggest acomplishment is gettin woop by Cotto, had a draw in my book against Ngoudjo and yet ppl see him as one of the best pure boxers today, is he overrated?
Good post but I don't think he is a crowd pleasing fighter. He is very annoying to watch because I know I can punch harder than him and none of his punches can actually hurt his opponent.
u sure talk alot of shit about fighters..
are u a fighter urself? just curious
i think paulie malignaggi is a crowd favorite but that's it,
he is not a KO artist and he does not have punching power,
i think he has good boxing skills but is highly overrated

paulie looked bad against ndoujo, but im sure that he will realize that he needs to work harder and harder, and on his next fight he will be much much better than he did against ndoujo. his fight against ndoujo is far from his real level imo....so lets just wait for his next fight :P

No, he isn't overrated. How high did you assume that he was rated??
LOL manfredo and HYPE are about as far apart as joe and the word GREAT
Now, now :nonono:
Lets not go off topic here, someone started this great thread and we must respect it.
I agree, but shouldn't they've called that a draw and Paulie kept his belt?
The fight wasn't a draw and Ngoudjo didn't win. All 3 judges, plus the press judges, and all professional post-fight writeups have Paulie as the close but clear winner of the fight.
calderon is the most overrated fighter in the sport.....
Was that a joke? The media hardly ever mentions him, was the Super champ at 105 but no one would unify against him then moved up and beat the best fighter on the weight class.
I respectfully disagree. And if they fight, please make a mental note that I'm willing to make a good bet (30-40K) on my boy Paulie.
I'll take that no problem.
