Ibragimov's Fight Plan...

Scap's right, Sultan't only chance is to rush Wlad early and try to land at least one or two left hands before Wlad ties him up. Wlad can't fight on the inside for the life of him, the most that Ibragimov is risking is to be tied up.

Use his jab and find a way to get inside of Wlad, even then I still think Wlad does too much damage to Sultan to lose the fight.

kayjay why do you say not to bet on chagaev/skelton? I meant don't bet on Skelton. The issue was whether Skelton has a better chance against Chagaev than Iggy does against Big Wlad. I agreed maybe the chance is slightly higher, but still not very good. Wlad and Chagaev should both successfully defend.

Personally I will eat my hat,gloves,scarf and coat if Skelton does anything other than get completely shut out. Need some salt?

sultan was knocked down by ray austin hes leaving this fight on a stretcher the guy got talent really foolish to fight wlad now he not going to come in at 230+ for wlad like he did austin. he simply wasnt in shape and prepared for that fight. he seems to have learned his lesson and has come in at 220ish lbs ever since. I still think wald takes him out,,,but there are too many references to the austin fight. sultan is a much better fighter than he showed that night

What if he makes Wlad move his feet and tries to rush him when off balance? You can't run at Wlad but if you circle, retreat, then attack, maybe it will catch him . . . . ah what the fuck I've no idea

Dont you think he must come out immediately (first 30 seconds) and let the left hand go, then let it go and then let it go some more? I think he needs to shock Wlad like Corey did-his chips must be thrown "all in" from the start...standing back and getting jabbed to death against the new and improved super resourceful Wlad Klitchko is just going to get him chopped up. Attack and attack early-dont wait five rounds to ask Wlad if he can take your left hand-find out immediately! I think this would be a great strategy for Sultan but judging from his last couple of fights, I think he’s too cautious and tentative to try anything like this….

I agree. Sultan's best chance is in the first few rounds and if he can't make anything happen, it'll go downhill for him.

I think because of Wlad size his stamina is low comparable to a smaller heavyweight such as SI if SI works on his stamina and hits to the body alot he would wear Wlad out and make Wlad leave his guard low and take him out. Ofcourse Wlad could easily catch SI coming in, but against the new Wlad I don't think headhunting will do it, I think Wlad learnt quite a bit from his losses.

Staying out of range and countering like he did in his last two fights simply will not work. Wlad is too fast, accurate, and powerful to run from. I hope SI goes straight for the kill, though this will more than likely mean an early KO loss. SI's chin isn't quite weak but it's not good either. He won't take many shots at all and be able to stay on his feet. I think Sultan will prove he has a good chin in this fight. It may lead him into a worse beating but he will prove it...

I totally agree Scap! Been saying this from the start. Sultan's only chance is to go back to the pre Mayweather Sultan and try and brawl with Wladdy. I would love to see it happen because then we will see a great fight and not a one sided beating...

Weirdly, I think Skelton has more chance against Chagbollocks. And I give Skelton about a 24% chance. 24% chance...very interesting.
