are the most shamefully partial and biased announcers in boxing. Have you ever seen the way they will pump up the HBO house fighter even when that fighter is clearly getting his as kicked?
The fights that demonstrate this the best are Cotto/Mosley, Mayweather/Hatton, Chavez/Whitaker 1 and Sturm/Dela Hoya. Go back and watch the fights and listen to the bullshit that comes out of their mouths. And then watch the fights with the sound off. And you will see for yourself clear as day who is getting their ass kicked and how blatantly try to influence the opinions of the viewers. These two have NO class.
they're just doing their job. other proffesions that have no class: police officer, lawyer, prostitute
co-signed, don't forget to add politician to that list. i have no opinion regarding prostitutes. what they do as consenting adults is there concern.
police and politicians are the highest level of dirt bag...

It's Harold Lederman, get it right.
i actually like lampley and lederman, they do a tremendous job imo, but the ones who i do hate are steward and merchant because they bash great fighters like a mayweather, especially steward who flip flops more than jon kerry. emanuel steward imo is a fucking puppet on a string to merchant who is about as slow as they come. don't get me wrong, merchant has great quotes and is well spoken for the most part, but is a biased prick who bashes floyd for damn near every move even after he wins a fight. steward is too green as a commentator to think for himself, and he's been commentating for years now as well as training, but when it comes to floyd, he cock sucks merchant and basically follows his every word. it was reported that emanuel steward predicted that floyd would go on to be a great fighter and win 2 or 3 titles, then, during the de la hoya fight, he claimed that he's never considered floyd great, now manny isn't the best at predciting outcomes in fights or how fights will go, just like he did before floyd fought sharmba mitchell, de la hoya, and baldomir. max kellerman is lightyears better than merchant and steward imo and he, lewis, and kellerman should commentate the fights, or at least floyd fights anyway, because they are not biased. kellerman gives floyd the credit he rightfully deserves but he also stays objective like claiming how hard it's isn't to poke holes in floyd's logic, if only it was that easy to poke holes in his defense. kellerman gets criticized for being biased towards floyd which is totally bullshit, but merchant gets praised for calling floyd's fight boring woth baldomir and bashing his legacy while floyd is in the middle of a fucking fight. that's biased bullshit to me, and merchant wasn't always this way towards floyd, but he let floyd's outside personality detract from his professionalism in calling floyd fights.
another thing i want to mention is that emanuel steward after the mayweather/corley fight claimed that floyd got hit more than he's ever seen and he would have to run to victory against bigger opponents who hit much harder than corley to secure a victory, but then turns around and bashes floyd for supposedely running in his fights which floyd has never done. he's a hypocrite and was fired by taylor and is bitter it seems like, but that's him.

yeah i cant hate on jim lampley, but emmanuel steward... i wanna smack the shit out of him sometimes... i dont think that highly of lennox lewis as a commentator either.
he was talking about Floyd Mayweather. Emmanuel was complaining how how Floyd was considered the Camp even though he has not faced the best out of the division and said something like, "Max can still consider him the champ all he wants, but blah blah blah" and thats when Max said, "Its not what I want, Its how it is".
But back to the topic, there is no other ring announces I would rather have call a fight when Im watching than Jim Lampley. I love how he gets excited and at times almost poetic. Of course he will be biased at times but his excitement adds to the drama of the fight.dude that mayweather cotto poster is awesome!
Watch DLH/Mayweather and TELL ME they aren't blowing Oscar's freaking balls. It was really Manny Steward who wouldn't quit it.
SKILLS~
THAT IS WHY I STARTED THE POST LAMPLEY HAS BEEN BLOWING OSCAR FOR YEARS. Merchant, in my opinion, not as often but certainly in the last fight.
Also watch the way Lampley shamelessly blows them in the Sturm fight and Merchant blowing Hatton and Shane in their last fights.
IT'S GOTTA STOP, TODAY...
Lederman and Lampley are okay, but Max Kellerman has a terrible voice and he's extremely biased.
i like max and george foreman. i also like RJJ and James Toney. However, someone needs to tell james his tailor is way overpaid.
Harold Ledderman is usually a cunt. He gives a round to someone that's like "WTF?" and then he doesn't usually explain with it or disagree with him or at all.
I love Jim, but damn he should have been going nuts when Floyd knocked out Hatton. Maybe he was just speechless, but I doubt it.
i agree.....

Like the other guy said when theres a big fight I'd rather hear Lampley more than anyone else. Who can blame him for being a little partial soemtimes, he's only human too. For the most part I think he's been pretty fair given the size of the events he covers. Everyone else watching big fights cheers for oen guy or another, this one seems forgiveable too :)
I've never thought Lederman was biased on much either. His standards are upfront and there's no real guess work about how he judges a fight. Did the op mean Larry Merchant? I thought he was always being extreme one way or another ~
See at least Lederman lets it be known that he's 100% for the effective agressor. So we can have an idea of how his card would look like. He has a few off nights, the Barrera/JMM fight being one of them.
floyd hatton too... he was way off

and how bout after Cotto-Mosley, they say and now is Kellerman with the loser. and Kellerman says thats not what i want to hear or how i want it, something like that, but thats how it is.
i hate them as$holes. Shotime has worse matches, better announcers.

you mean harold lederman right?
It's alright, not even Foreman knew Lederman's first name back in 2000 (watch the Jones-Hall fight), and he'd worked on HBO for years.
