The fight depends on Chambers output, if he takes his time and doesn't apply pressure Povetkin runs wit the UD. But Chambers can make it a great fight if he throws more combos and not stay in his shell.
^^^^ that is a great bet. I might have to go take it.
Fast Eddie is cool. I gotta see more, but the boy does have skills.
the fact that it is held in germany is the only reason why I might hold back making that bet. But, I will be draped up with my USA flag cape.
not sure how much you can really gauge on beating a 20 lbs overweight guy in brock that was knocked out visciously by wlad. he may have been damaged goods. whether he was damged or not,,,he didnt exactly give himself a good chance by coming in looking like a fat slob. chambers fight with pov will tell the tale
povetkin is a considerable favorite, people who like chambers can get at least 400 on a 100 dollar bet
he beat calvin brock..... importantish

i dont think chambers would stand a chance against tony thompson, hes just too small and thompson is a 6'6 lefty who throws accurate combos.
basically thompson is a bigger, stronger, left handed version of chambers.
plus ive seen thompson take some good shots and shrug em off, ive never really seen chambers hit hard
He isn't exciting, but Chambers is a hell of a tough guy to fight. He is very slippery and always seems to take over the second half of the fight. Beating a good prospect like Povetkin in Germany will be quite a challenge though. I think like Byrd, he'll give a good account of himself.
I personally like that style. I like the slicker Heavies... it's a change of pace. And he's nice to watch when he lets his hands go. "Fast".. as some may have predicted.
But honestly.. he isn't a natural HW. Even admitted it himself. He should be at Cruiser. And I think the size thing will catch up to him. A natural, strong HW like Povetkin will get a UD over him.
The Povetkin fight will answer alot of questions about Chambers. I think it will be hard for him to win a close decision over there.
If Chambers comes away from Germany losing a close decision his reputation will go up rather than down.

I agree with you. It's hard for a boxer espacially a heavyweight to make it on just speed and boxing skills but Chambers does make the most of what he has.
