Will the heavyweight division do ANYTHING at all in 2008? It still doesn't look like good year in 2008. All the heavyweights are still overweight and under trained.
When will someone step up who can bring power and ability to make this divison at least a little exciting!?!?
Eddie Chambers?
Tony Thompson?
Andrew Golota??!?? lol
wlad will remain champ and the man in the HW division.
sam peter will ko both maskaev and vitali klitschko.
valuev will lose again, probably against sergie lykiovich.
holyfield will have no more options but to retire for good.
I see Vitali coming into the picture for a title shot might could get injured, then I see Odlanier getting four or three fights with some good prospects. Joe Mesi, Tua or Rahman all might fight someone under top 50. Ibragimov sinks to the bottom of the division, Chagaev-Klitschko unification in the works after Wlad beats winner of IBF tourney (Chambers) and Peter fights Gomez winning by Knock out or Peter fights Vitali but not likely cuz dude gets injured a lot.
TS, I think you know alot about boxing and boxing history. I really wish you could respect Vitali and how he wanted to continue to fight agasint Lewis even thought his face was fallling off. No fighter should be disrepected for stepping into the ring and putting his life on the line my freind.
boxing is a recreation or at least supposed to be but I agree that sometimes people are overly critical of guys for no real reason
It's not like the old days if the old days I mean like the 40's are as it's sometimes depicted were so many boxers after their careers were over ended up totally spent because they had too many hard fights after their prime, I think they probably dramatize that a little.
Are you mad that I speak the truth about your overrated quitter hero?
It's not a big deal. You have to face facts about your favorite fighters.
Sugar Ray Robinson: I'm a huge fan, but I accept that he avoided Charley Burley and was a terrible person outside the ring.
Manny Pacquiao: I like Pac-man, but I accept that he's beaten too many guys recently coming off of losses.
Why can't you accept the truth about Quitali? Does it hurt your feelings that his best win is over a fat, inactive version of a Hasim Rahman leftover? Does it bother you that when he quit against an feather-fisted slapper? Or how about the fact that Oleg's bitch Hasim laid out Lummox when Lummox when he was out of shape, but the "great" Brittley lost to an out of shape Lummox?
Of course, you can take solace in the fact that Shitali did beat the great Danny Williams!

WRONG...go to Thread Stealer's profile and check out his previous threads and posts, you will notice that 95% of his posts are Vitali related...all he does is troll and hate on a guy who has been inactive in 3 years, that's pretty fucking disturbed and pathetic.

Ever heard of a guy named Wladimir Klitschko? He's not overweight and he's well trained, and also runs the HW divison.
IMO thread stealer knows a lot about boxing, when he's not talking about Vitali he actually knows what he's talking about, and he doesn't really hate on Wlad.

I don't doubt that. But he doesn't contribute anything.
Brother Blues is pretty cool though. They can't all agree with us, that would be no fun.

I agree 100%...Brother Blues is jealous and bitter because all the best heavyweights are white Eastern Europeans...I would say he is the 2nd biggest Klitschko hater on the forum behind the retarded loser Thread Stealer.

You're just crying because the titleholders are not black like yourself. :bottle: Get over it...
I'm excited about the coming year in the heavyweight division, because of great matchups already scheduled like Ibragimov vs. Wladimir, and Povetkin vs. Chambers. :boxing:
Some great young fighters coming up: Povetkin leads the group, then there's Dimitrenko, Chambers, Boytsov, Platov, Witherspoon, Mollo, Pianeta, Arreola - lots of excellent young talent!

I'm backing this man for undisputed HW champion 2008

lol,,,out of all the solid and new european talent all you come up with is those 3?
Not much will change in the division. Wlad will still be the best, Haye could make an impact. Vitali, if he ever gets through a training camp, can maybe become a champion again.
