Clottey beats Cintron IMO

he did not throw it all fight long. he slapped it a couple of times and then shook it. go back and watch the fight again. he threw almost exclusively left hooks, a punch you rarely see cintron throw. he really only threw the right when he smelled a KO. i watched the fight last night and seen him throw it for the whole fight. IMO that was just an excuse for looking so terrible.

The question is, will Clottey be able to walk thru Cintron's punches and keep pressuring him for 12? I like both fighters, this should be a good one.

I already posted about the suposse "ligament injury", which is bullshit! just cuz you posted that it was bs, doesnt make it so. i sincerely doubt one of the most respected orthopedic hand surgeons in my area, and in the country, would make something up. why would he care?

you got it man. and as far as the hand... everyone know's it wasnt broken. it was severe ligament damage, but how, in the middle of a fight, would anyone know that their hand is broken or not? all you would know is that it hurts horribly, it's been broken before, and you've had 5 surgeries on it before. of course you assume it's broken. 15 punches landed, 14 of them power shots, uncontested. how is that a quick stoppage. Do i think feliciano was going down? probably not, but that is not why a fight gets stopped. a fight gets stopped when a fighter does no protect himself and will get hurt, and feliciano would have been hurt. and he did not crumble. the only reason feliciano was able to apply that pressure is because cintron couldnt keep him outside because of a busted hand. had the hand been in use, fight would have been over by the 4th round. he almost had him done in round 1. cintron was instructed to let feliciano come inside and throw all he wants. listen to the between rounds instructions from manny steward. the announcers even say "wow, that is interesting instructions from cintrons corner. i dont agree with that at all." cintron was doing what he was told by his trainer in order to win a fight with a busted hand. HE STILL KO'D the guy. I have never before seen a guy get so much shit for a KO win. i have been over this too many times about Cintrons hand. it was not broke at all. and if thats the case, it should break in the Clottey fight as well because Clottey has a great chin and will fight him back. the point is, Feliciano was a blown up fighter who was not even ranked, and Cintron fought life and death with the man. do you think Mayweather, Cotto, or Williams would fight life and death with Feliciano? please, Cintron is soft. many fighters dont even flinch when thier hand is actually broke.

Cintron is being extremely overrated. He has good power but come Walter is a much different opponent than Clottey. He's an open target and is a small, vwery small opponent compared to Cintron. Clottey is a true big welter. He doen't need to knock out Cintron to win. Everyone is so enamored with the KO. Cintron won't hit Clottey cleanly enough to hurt him. Plus he likes to fight on the inside which stunts long range power shots that Cintron needs to get off. Clottey is a top ten welter. You just don't KO guys like that. If you have watched any of his fights you'll notice he has agood beard along with an enormous steel head. You aint crackin that period.

Clottey has good defense .. he won't get cracked like Walter did ya'll are looking at the power aspect way too much .. sure Kermit has more 1 punch kayo power ... but so what, Clottey puts his hands up ... he's not going to be a sitting duck for Cintron's power shots Clottey has to fight strong down the stretch, he definitely cannot coast the last 2 rounds like he did vs Flores and Alverez Part of the gameplan, part of the gameplan.
