Best example of Finishing a fighter ? when fighter A has finished his oponent off superbly or clinically, punch placment to perfection ,PAST OR PRESENT BTW
Ray Leonard v Hearns ,lalonde ,
Tyson v Bruno , Pinklon Thomas ,
LOL but he lost concentration for a split secound and thats all it took LOL
deffo, when your facing Julain Jackson u cannot take anything for granted ask Herol Graham lol
Lennox Lewis was a fantastic finisher, the demolition jobs he did on Golota, Ruddock and Botha just to name a few were clinical.
Tyson v Bruno 2 was also a good example of how to finish your opponent off.
Barrera v Paul Lloyd 1st time id ever seen Barrera fight i was an instant fan after this he destroyed Lloyd the British Champion in 1 round if i remember right i think it was on the under card to Julius Francais v Danny Williams
Danny Williams lost to the Journeyman Francais ,oh no
lennox lewis versus andrew golota. i dont think i've ever seen somebody get picked apart so clinically. the look on golotas face as he falls to the canvas is absolutely priceless
Pavlik's KO of Taylor was beautiful, he hurt Taylor badly with the big right hand and then finished Taylor off in the corner, those uppercuts he mixed in were downright nasty.
The one against Miranda was even better,he threw everything in the book,i remember he even done a double straight right hand,Pavlik is one of the best finishers today, and the most devastating puncher ive seen in years
Arguello VS Ray Mancini, Andy Ganigan & Alfredo Escelara II were pretty well perfect.
Aaron Pryor VS Arguello 1 definitely up there - ultimate display of sheer determination & focused savagery.
I don't think you can go past Roy Jones Junior. He could finish fighters superbly. The best.
Agree. He was so good, he would stop to let the ref stop the fight, and when they wouldn't, Roy would give him a reason to stop it.
