The haters would have said Mayweather was past his prime and twenty pounds over his original fighting weight if Hatton won. Going into the Tszyu and Castillo fights most people were picking them to beat Hatton, as they have with every fighter since Ricky became a star. Ricky Hatton is a legend and ALL-TIME great at JWW, deal with it!

I figured Floyd would win, retard, that's why I bet all my points on him about 2 weeks ago. When I saw the 10 oz gloves and heard about the huge ring, I knew that Ricky wouldn't have much chance. Little did I know the ref would take away what chance he did have completely. Letting Floyd hold and hit frequently early in the fight, and letting Floyd push off with his elbow to the ribs and throat throughout the fight. When he took away a point for Ricky hitting one of the ropes as Floyd flopped through the ropes and then stayed there to make sure a point would be taken, Ricky realized he had zero chance to win a decision. So he did the only thing he could with a 20 inch reach, jump in and try to work on the inside. After losing the next 3 rounds in a row, he tried jumping in while throwing from a distance and got caught with a beautiful left hook, and his momentum carried him into the ring post, which did further damage as he was head first. But he couragiously got back up and continued to come at Floyd in spite of his legs being gone. You're a moron for not giving him any credit at all. i agree completely :boxing: damn floyd nuthuggers... seriously. i like floyd but i have to admit, he was exaggerating a lot. boo on nuthugging.

One thing ive learned about ricky hatton in this last fight is that he sure is a hard nut with alot of guts!!! Maybe someone like Lovemore and Harris as warm ups before he gets back in there with a title holder!!! Hatton will be kicking ass his next fight. As long as it's at 140, I got my points on it.

At the moment I would probably agree, Ricky cant have as much faith in his chin as he used to, and it may take him a few fights to get back up to the level he once was. Then again, it may have the opposite effect and he completely destroys anyone he fights. I agree with the Witter fight. That makes sense, as Witter would be the second best 140lber next to Hatton...........given that Hatton did move down to 140. Hatton will go back to 140 and kick ass.

Deffinetly agree with you there, Hatton's a great character. Think he should fight Witter next at Wembley stadium then maybe look at someone like De La Hoya or Paulie over in the states. Well there's really no doubt that he's a completely different fighter at 140 than he is 147. I'd say he should just clean up 140, there isn't anyone on his level in reality. I agree with you.

I just hope he fights more than just 2-3 times like his trainer said before the Floyd fight. Boxing would miss Hatton. I think he'll try and unify the belts then retire, boxing will miss him but I dont want him to go on too long and end up getting himself damaged.
