after Saturdays event, will ricky still be welcomed to fight over there and will anybody still be interested.
I say this because of the people who called themselves fans and went over there causing trouble and booing the national anthem
But were not all like that, the vast majority of the 25-30000 people went over there and supported our fighter and had a good time.
As for the boxing, I think Ricky proved he is a good boxer and he lost the fight because of his desire to win it. I had Ricky 3 rounds to 2 up after 5 and he seemed to have floyd flustered more than I have ever seen him b4. |But floyd deserved to win, he pulled out a great performance and even though i was sick as a dog, Floyd deserves his props.
But is there still in interest in Ricky over there? and what do yanks think of him at this point in time
I'm a true believer in "Don't let one bad apple spoil the bunch" so I had no real grudge against UK boxing fans, but I gotta say "F@!* Ricky Hatton & his whole bloomin' camp" for not apologizin to the US fans for those that actted up on HIS behalf. See why B-Hop don't truely give a f*&$@ 'bout how the UK fans feel about what or how he says sh*t, he makes no apologizes cause they won't, f*$@'em!!! Can u Dig Dat?!?!?:boxing:
stfu dios ur a bitch i gave u my adress ..why do u hate me 4 not bein a fan of mayweather ..i like him hes the p4p champ ..hes just not in my ass like he is urs relax dude ..i have alota dominican family and ur makin them look bad ..bird chest lollll like i havnt heard that b 4 ...once again ..my chest is like that because of a major surgery i underwent .....can anyone explain why dios sends me messages tryin 2 pick fights on the internet ..grow up or show up
Hard not to. He thought he could walk through Floyd. Kinda perceived himself as indestructible. Detroyed by a fighter who isn't really that type of puncher.
Wouldn't be surprised to see Hatton struggle from here on. Kinda like Vargas.
Nah he was just self confident. Nothing wrong with that.
Personally I figured he'd give Floyd a tougher fight and lose on points but Mayweather was a level above. Too smart to let Hatton work inside.
It'll be interesting to see how he comes back...I'd like to see him box Malignaggi at the Garden and Witter somewhere over here. Then he may as well quit cos he'll never be a welter.
The only fight that matters at 140 is Hatton/Witter. WTF is a bell end?
for me hatton shouuld fight malignaggi, torres and then diaz if he is willing to move up. Fight them in America and then have one last fight in the uk, possibly against witter. Then he should retire when Khan and john murray move up
HBO will not go for a witter fight in the uk imo.
I dont want him to fight witter, witter is a bell end, good fighter yes but hes still a bell end

is ricky hatton welcome to fight in the us? what kind of question is that.
it was more to do with the behaviour of some of the clowns that called themselves fans that worried me mate, i don't agree in booing national anthems
Defintely he should fight Witter!

I think he's still welcomed here, i think his next fight should be against witter and as someone said that belongs in the uk but there are other intriguing fights he could take up here

Hatton showed alot of heart. I loved the guy on Saturday night. But if he continues to make excuses about getting KOd he will lose respect over here. Dont forget his fans didnt show up like that in the U.S. until he fought Money Mayweather. So a better question is will his fans show up again when hes not fighting PBF?
Hatton's a warrior. Of course American fans will want to see more of him. Although I personally think his style of fighting isn't very pleasant to watch. Before he comes back to America, he has unfinished business in the UK with Witter. That fight, now, is a must.
You're going to find that Ricky Hatton is going to be more popular here than he was before the fight. The loss will elevate him. He got the 24/7 exposure and from Floyd a minor version of the rub that Oscar gave him. People here are going to be excited for Ricky Hatton to come back, not just okay with it.
yes, the man should still fight here in america. maybe in madison square garden, where he can go back to using 8oz gloves, instead of the 10oz in vegas. i do not like nevada's 10oz glove rule (i forgot what weightclasses required 10oz, i think it's for lightweights and above?).
i like seeing how boxers come back from their first loss, especially the hitman.
malignaggi in new york!!!!!!!!
edit: i just researched, nevada requires 10oz for 135 (lightweight) and above.
is diaz moving up?
Diaz is not moving up but has repeatedly conveyed an interest in fighting Hatton. It appears he is willing to go up to jrWW to fight Hatton whether he would stay there is not certain but he seems more than willing to go there for Hatton.
