Hatton vs. Malignaggi in the Garden

After an AMAZING year in 2007. 2008 could also hold many GREAT fights. In 2008 i see Hatton and malignaggi battling it out at junior welterweight, in malignaggis home town. Who would come out on top? I believe Hatton has showed how well he could cut off the ring time and time again, even against mayweather (Though he was clearly too small and could not battle floyd on the inside) I believe he would cut off malignaggi throughout the whole fight, and at 147 he would bully paulie all around the ring. Whats everybodys thoughts?

Hatton Tko in the late rounds.... it would be another cotto-millignagi. ... Hatton-torres would be a graet fight! I agree with Hatton v's Torres but would torres come to england to fight The paulie fight should be Hattons nxt fight, not only will it keep him in the limelight in the usa but i honestly think Ricky would maul him especially coming of a defeat and having something to prove

malignaggi UD.. such good range.. deals with pressure fine.. pops that jab all night.. i was thinking the same thing. malignaggi jabs a lot more than mayweather, which could be trouble.

i'd love to see this fight. i was hoping this was gonna get made even before hatton v. mayweather was announced. it's be real entertaining.

Maybe not necesarilly the garden, but its something other then vegas, and paulie is from NYC, and would bring alot of the new york natives to mix with the english. It could be a while, but this fight will, and NEEDS to be made.

I think Hatton winds by brutal bodyshot. I hope he doesnt have a hard time getting back down to 140, not fun to see fighters forced into sub-optimal weight classes like Gatti was. There are SO many good fights to be made now and in the future at 140, no reason to move up.

Hatton wears down Malignaggi and TKOs him late, if he doesn't TKO him he'll win a decision.

i could see that fight going the same way malignaggi cotto did a cople of years back. hatton wold cut off the ring and providing that paulie engaged in a fight like he did against cotto this would be a very entertaining fight. Hatton however is a monster at 140 and i can see him stopping paulie late on.
