Better for boxing Flolyd or Hatton?

Millions are going to watch this ppv. If this fight excites the fans and is a good fight, THAT will be exactly what would be best for the sport.

Boxing needs both of them. Without Floyd there is no Hatton and without Hatton there is no Floyd.

As stated above, the best thing for boxing is for this fight to be a good one as Mayweather has only a few fights left in him (so he says), and there was a post a few pages back that Hatton would retire next year when he turns 30, so it's hard to say who is better for boxing in the long term.

Good thread, Ive acctually thought about this and I dont know. Mayweather is brittle and seems like he's on his way out of boxing. Hatton has a huge following but thats on the other side of the pond. Best for boxing = A great fight tonight. God i hope so.

its just got all the ingrediants england versus usa, good guy versus bad guy, boxer versus puncher....i think both guys are important for boxing....
