There's been plenty of speculation as to how the fight between Ricky and Floyd will end on Dec. 8.
The majority expect Floyd to win, but stranger things have and can happen.
Many would be surprised if Ricky actually pulls off a victory.
What do you think? :boxing:
Uh, huh. Yeap!
THAT would be unbelievable!!! I would scream in horror. Whoever wins, it has to be concise.
And I and lots of others around the world would join you in a chorus of screams! I'll be cupping my ears.
I'm, honestly, traumatized from 'draw' decisions being pulled out of judges butts when a certain showmaker (I won't mention any names: DK) was the top promoter during the '80s.
Not to say this fight will be rigged or anything. Just thinking out loud.
Has no-one really thought about the implications of a Draw if this went to the cards I can see a draw coming out all day long considering how much money has been made from this fight, it has rematch written all over it.
If Hatton Wins he will fight Oscar at Wembly at a packet out stadium.
if mayweather wins he will retire again, theres isnt a prayer he will call out cotto.
Agree here.
I don't believe Floyd, as protective as he is of his record and legacy, would want to go out with 38-0-24-1 on his resume.
He hasn't committed to confirming his retirement when asked what will happen after it's over on the 8th.
A re-match due to a draw will make A LOT of $EN$E for everyone involved.
Of course, Oscar has a golden bib on and is drooling all over it.:boxing:

I'm expecting there to be at least a couple of surprises.
There's one other surprise I should've added to the poll:
What if the fight ended in a draw?
That would surprise the heck outta everyone!:boxing:

I have to agree with Easton. The biggest surprise would be for Floyd to go toe to toe with Hatton and beat him down. If Floyd did that, I'd forget about all the cherry picking and self aggrandizing.

That Hatton beat Mayweather very easily
from that list, i'd probably go with mayweather standing toe to toe with hatton. just cant see it myself, although i hope im wrong
i WOULDNT WANT THAT REALLY... I MEAN... mayweather is bigger At 5-8, with a 72-inch reach, Floyd will look like a giant against the 5-6 junior 65-inch wing span hatton...
but still no trading all crazy i dont like it.
Hatton winning or KO'ing Floyd. Also, Floyd standing toe to toe for considerable amounts of time. I do believe he will go toe to toe a little. Not the whole fight because it is not his style. If he did that the whole evening and KO'd Hatton, I'd be speechless.
if he stood toe to toe and took out Hatton- i would sing his glory from here till the end!
Infact, i would surpass Dios in the nuthuggery to the point he would be ashamed to not have represented Floyd good enough!
I see floyd only winning by slowing the fight down and keeping lots distance- in order to win he has to make it a pot shot fight.
So yes, i would be stunned if he stands and beats Hatton down!

Hatton KO'ing Mayweather. I believe Hatton, if the story about his "style" being the perfect one to foil Mayweather's, could make the fight look easier than it actually is because he gets so many of the early rounds in the bag. However, Hatton KO'ing Floyd is HIGHLY unlikely in my book, I just see no way that can happen.
Good points.
I think by now, if you're refering to Floyd's decision after the fight, many don't rely on what he says would or could happen in his career. :boxing:
True. However, hardly any fighters are completely honest. He does a lot more talking than most fighters. So, he's more likely to lie. lol.
Be that as it may, he's a smart enough guy to know Cotto is where the money is.
The most surprising thing to happen. If the winner retired and really meant it. NEVER came back. That'd surprise me.
Another thing would be for the winner to IMMEDIATELY call out Cotto and mean it. Get it signed and have it happen before JUNE of next year.
Both of those things would surprise me. Either could happen, though.
