Meanwhile Castillo, a two-time lightweight world champion, is being touted as the possible opponent for Junior Witter's next WBC light-welterweight defence.
The Bradford switch-hitter has long craved an all-British showdown with Hatton, but with Oscar de la Hoya emerging as the favourite to face Hatton on his homecoming, Castillo could get another crack at a world title at 140lbs.

yeh def that would be amazing, would prove why witter no.1. rees can keep his strap lol.
i think it would come down to witter-dhop. i dont see it happening for a while tho with paulie havin to fight ngodu and then ndou again lol.
He could rematch N'Dou by April. He's fighting Herman in January. Provided he's healthy after the fight, they could fight in April, and in the meantime Witter and Torres can go at it. That'd be a good one.
August can see Paul fight DHop, and in December can see Witter/Paul. Which is how I would personally see it.
Wishful thinking, but it's possible.
I'd rather see Witter give Kotelnik a rematch. You can easily make a case for their first fight going the other way, and it was a fairly entertaining fight.
That said, Kotelnik seems to be Public Enemy #1 with the judges. 2 losses and a draw, all three fights that probably should've went his way, ESPECIALLY the M'Baye rematch, which if it aired on American TV would be mentioned in the same breath as Casa-Santa Cruz and DHop-Forbes as the year's worst decisions.
What do tou know about Castillo's money?? :nonono:
Well, he got sued for 200,000 dollars, and then sued again by his promoter and the other promoters in the Corrales debacle when he didn't make weight. He was never a rich man, (his words), and now he has even less money.
It's common knowledge that the man is in the hole.
I heard Margarito was gonna fight Castillo, so I guess it's whoever offers Castillo the most money. Can't blame him. He needs it.What do tou know about Castillo's money?? :nonono:

i hope he takes on margarito. id rather see witter against one of the champs as this wont prove nothin for witter.
Malignaggi against Hopkins.. Witter against Torres, the winners face eachother. I like the sound of that.
