The word is that Mayweather has real problems with his hands, if this is true then then could he keep off the tenacious Hatton? Hatton cuts up real easy and Mayweathers slashing, lightening fast shots could tear him to shreds. However if both fighters pass their medicals and weigh in ready to fight then there should be no excuses. If you are not fit then you shouldn't fight. Therefore both sides lets make a pact that if they both make it into the ring (obviously they should) then we should offer no excuses regardless of the result (obviously fouling, poor decisions etc do not apply) If Hatton gets beaten either by better skills or by a breakdown of his body in anyway then I will come on here and congratulate Mayweather on a good win. There are mixed messages, some say his hands are fucked and he nearly pulled out of the fight, Some say he is playing mind games with Hatton. 50/50. Yep, I have heard different things. If he says he is fit then he believes he is fit enough to win the fight. If he loses then he can have no comebacks.

Agreed. Hatton supposedly has a shoulder problem and Mayweather hand problems. If they climb into that ring then they are ready to fight. I expect a closer fight than many anticipate and injuries could play a part.

The problem is that there are excuses that contribuite to how a fight plays out. I dont think Mayweather's brittle hands are an excuse, more a statement of fact. If Floyd doesnt hurt his hand and gets beat, then of course all the props go to Ricky, but we really cant say this until we have seen the fight. Cant say till fight the fight is over, so i totally agree with you, but it hatton was to win fair and square and against a fully fit mayweather, he deserves his props.

If you are fit to fight but get injured during the bout then that's part of the process and shouldn't be used as an excuse. If you break a rib or get cut then that's accepted, it should be no different in any circumstance.

If hatton wins good for him...if mayweather wins good for him...im a big floyd fan ..but im trying to make my life a success its not that serious... and anything cannot hapen in boxing...boxing is an art..its not just about throwing punches all over the place...thats a street fight.... there anything can happen in boxing if it happens its for a reason...ive been saying it since the fight was official dont believe the hype..its just to sell pay per views..hatton freezes in this fight and will do nothing effectively and finally will get stretched like a las vegas limo.....

100% for what its worth i will praise Mayweather for beating the best they put in front of him. If he beats Hatton he will retire as one of the greats and will be remebered for beating De Lay Hoya and beating the undefeated Hatton in his last two fights, not many people could do that. However if Hatton wins well theres gonna be a lot of people getting there eyes opened!! I just hope its a fair fight and doesnt fall to no dogey decission cos Hatton aint gonna win like that.
