Personally, I have never seen a fighter with the combination of speed, reflexes, and skill that Mayweather possesses. He amazes me with his ability in every fight.
I'm not a Mayweather fan....but I do enjoy watching his fights most of the time.I do wish he would engage a bit more at times because he could stop some people if he went buck a little with his speed.Anyway I simply think personally he is a prick from what he portrays to the public....He's probably alirght to be homies with but I don't know him.His skills are no doubt great and he needs a carrer defining war to make him that great he wants to be and thinks he already is IMO.
Man, Rae. Let's not forget half of the brawls that he'd been in before the last, ummm.. idk.. year? He's engaged plenty in his career. People seem to have short-term memory after the Baldomir fight.
Mitchell, Judah, Gatti, N'Dou, Chavez, Hernandez, Burton, Corley... The list goes on.
^^^^^^^
:lol1: :lol1: :lol1: you with the fucking essays.
his last fights where duds but he's fun to watch sometimes.that's okay, i'm just practicing on here so i get used to typing essays again when i get back in school, but until then, shut up, jackass....lol. just kidding man. i know i type like a madman, but hey, when i feel strongly on a subject i don't want to leave anything out, that's all. you'll get used to it hopefully....either that or you won't have any trouble getting to sleep.
I am a Mayweather fan because he is a courageous warrior and he is very exciting. Floyd always goes for the KO, he dosen't like to leave the fight in the judges' hands. Floyd has balls and courage, he isn't afraid to go toe to toe or take punches. Mayweather is a terrific human being and he has a great attitude, his fights with Oscar De La Hoya and Baldomir were very exciting, those fights saved boxing and drove people away from the UFC.
WAR Floyd
i have been a fan of his since watching some his fights in the olympics, and i have not looked back yet, and will not do so.
what made me a fan of his is how smooth he is in the ring, starting with his stance. the way he positions his body before he throws a jab or a hook is just amazing. he positions his upperbody great and his back foot is always up and how he hold his hands is great. he doesn't look sloppy at all. he looks so relaxed and positioned to throw any punch effectively of counter effectively.
another reason i'm a fan is because of his footwork. he moves around so well and throws his opponents off by doing this. he can place his lead foot on the inside or outside of his opponent's feet equally good.
another reason is because of how great floyd's timing is. his timing is impecable and he seems to always know his distance throughout each fight no matter who the opponent was. he's such a gifted fighter, that he makes you want to train like a madman to step your game up.
we all know he is fast and has a great left hook and lead right hand. we all know how great his defense is. we all know how dedicated he is to training all year round and staying is great shape. we all know how great his jab is the the body, and to the pivot of the stomach, he does this so well. the thing that makes a fan over all of this is that he is so methodical in the ring. he knows how to win under any circumstance, and when i call him methodicAL, i mean that you don't know what he's going to bring because no matter how many fights you watch of him, no matter how many fighters think they have him figured out, he finds a way to dominate them or defeat them. his will to win every fight he's in is remarkable to say the least. he trains so that everything is perfect, so no matter how much he talks shit at press conferences or in interviews, when he gets in his zone in the ring, his mindset is like a map of different directions to beat his opponents.
i mean his jump rope technique is amazing, the best i've seen. th eway he hits the pads is amazing and the best i've seen. the way he does his situps is amazing. the way goes into his training camp just to get in shape basically, because his mindset wins him his fights. not his speed, elusiviness, power, or precision, his mindset is what gets the job done. his eye movement and observating memory are always in tact. he knows the ring very well and knows how to dictate the pace of his fights an dtake his opponent's out of their comfort zone and can switch speeds on them at any given moment he choose to.
also, the way he performs under any adverse situation amazes me. he doesn't fold under intense pressure and stays poised and collective. he does this thing known as boxing so effortlessly, and this just amazes me. he knows how to take a crowd out of a fight by literally destroying their hometown favorite or favorite fighter.
i also appreciate that floyd respects the sweet science and the artform of boxing, and no matter how many names he gets called, he fights like their is nobody in the building and this is when he is too dangerous for any opponent. when zone gets zoned out later on in the rounds of any of his fights, iooks like he is unstoppable and cannot be defeated. but hey, that's just how i feel.
Im not a fan but i appreciate his discipline and athleticism. Hes never did a fight half ass and I can respect that. plus his shit talking brings excitement to the sport.

will he amaze you when he loses? that is the question
