Remember this fight?Thats the worst decision I have ever seen. When DLh got robbed in end by tito.Even though I love both fighters was a bad call.
There are a lot of classic bad decisions that many people want to bring up, but the Santa Cruz/Casamayor fight has really set the new standard.
That shit was EPIC. The bar has been forever raised...you aren't going to top that one for a long time to come.
You guys are mentioning too many close fights that didn't go the way of your fighter as robberies. Those aren't robberies.
Casita - Santa Cruz
Lewis - Holyfield
Augustus - Burton
Nelson - Fenech
Those are robberies. In each one of those fights, one fighter clearly won at least 8 rounds and were either given a draw (Lewis), or lost. Fights like DLH-Tito/Sturm/Mayweather/Mosley II and Mayweather-Castillo I are not robberies.
De La Hoya - Mayweather , De La Hoya won that fight also Amir Khan - Willie Limond was a joke the ref stopped counting after he reached 7 when Khan was down

the idea of that fight being a robbery is overrated.the early rounds where pretty much pickems, oscar landed more tito more power shotsthere was one round in the middle of the fight i'm not sure which one was,but it was really one sided in oscar's favor, but it was still scored a 10 9 round.then you had oscar from round 9 doing the running man as tito gained momentum.in my opinion it was a draw,a fight oscar was winning and in the end didn't want to win.
yep, totally agreed ...dorian just said that cus he is pissed tito got his ass schooled... ;)
the writers who bitch a bout this fight are the sames who think penalosa beat de leon .....
yer one my fav posters hyp but gota disagree with you on this one... but its aight cuz oscar is one of yer faves and you gota back him..
Man, people blow that fight out of proportion. It was clearly a close fight. Sturm got hit alot, but outboxed de la Hoya for the most part. But he did get hit alot.
yer right.. sturms gloves took a beating.
this is what I was going to say.. Dorian you just earned yerself some good karma...
its definetly not the worst decision ever... but oscar did get a boxing lesson and in the end decision was rigged cuz he was only able to fight hopkins in a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE money fight if he beat sturm...
Oscar got 2 things that night.. OWNED.. and a gift decision.. his face expression alone said he lost...
thanks :)
and yes oscar had to win so they can make the mega fight with b hop
De la hoya vs Mosley 2
that was a joke
i agree...the first one was a close fight and i would gave it to mosley, but, the rematch???? WTF!! a clare victory of DLH, i cant imagine how it could be seen in different way
Whitaker-Chavez anyone?
Also, the judge who had Chavez ahead of Taylor before the Meldrick-Chavez knockdown has to be out of his fucking mind.
totally...Chavez was taking an ass beating
I scored that 5-0 for Bosante that was a joke did you also see punchstats ?? didn't Bosante triple Brinkley in punches landed ??
The funny thing is me and my mate wanted brinkley to win, but damn u only have to look at brinkley after the fight to see he knows he lost he is shruging his shoulders and everything. That was a robbery i'll never forget.
