What is Mayweather Fighting For?

Mayweather is trying to prove that he is the greatest fighter of all time with this fight. In Hatton, he may have the perfect foil.

pride and legacy are surely the same things. I still think he is fighting for money. 1./ Hardly anyone likes him because he's a cock regardless of who he beats 2./ How much is he fucking earning lol i hate when someone thinks that their idol is getting shiited on because of their wealth. you realize how many wealthier people are out there? it makes no fucking sense. as far as the topic, this is the contradiction of Floyd, his camp and his stans. Floyd will not fight a certain fighter because there wouldnt be any money in it, therefore meaning he is ovbiously fighting for money... BUT THEN Floyd will not fight a certain fighter if he gets offered a SHITLOAD of money because it wont add to his legacy?, therefore meaning his is ovbiously fighting for an honorable legacy BUT THEN Floyd claim that he no longer NEEDS to fight for money because he is doing it for the love of the sport and wants to be known as the GOAT for fighting the best BUT THEN Floyd will fight a fighter who he himself admits that will be no challenge, ie Baldomir, Gatti etc, FOR alot of money and his fans see nothing wrong with this believing he is the greatest gift to boxing in the history of mankind.

-If he's not fighting for money, then he is and was ducking the toughest guys out there, he said Mosley wasn't an interesting fight because of the money for instance. -Legacy: Floyd said before the DLH fight that his legacy would be sealed after the fight, so that's not the reason he's still fighting, unless he's willing to move up to middleweight (LOL!) -Pride: Floyd doesn't have pride if he did he'd show the world he could fight in a more entertaining fashion and actually entertain. He needs to back up all of his KO talk and earn our respect. I'd respect Floyd if he fought all legit beltholders at WW and then retired. Williams, Cotto and (even?) Cintron are the biggest treats he'd ever have to face. Williams' flurries could trap Mayweather and his long arms would make him target practice, unless Floyd is willing to fight him on the inside (where he wouldn't be effective). Cotto I think has the best chance of beating him with his relentless pressure and power. Cintron would only be able to beat Floyd if he could land flush shots, he'd be the biggest puncher Floyd will have ever faced and that alone could make this fight exciting. Either Floyd dances around him and punishes him for 12 round straight or he gets beaten brutally himself.

He's still fighting because "Bill Gates still makes those f**ken computers" GO RICKY!

I'd go for love of the game and Money. Though money probably outweighs the love of the game part haha.
