they both got VICIOUS left hooks but who u think got the better left hook i think im goin with trinidad when he caught my boy yory boy campas with so many left hooks(and never fell down) but then towards the end it was hurting him a lot thats why it was stopped.
DLH is a natural left and had more speed in his than Tito. Tito is a natural righty with a little less speed but he had more power in his.
If DLH hit you with a clean or too many hooks he could KO you. If Tito hit you with a clean or too many hooks he could ruin your career.
his legs are always shaky in the first couple of rounds, maybe it's nervous energy.
But I dont see that. I think it more physchological thing.
If you oppenet is shaky you wanna finish him off quickly so you going to stay toe2toe to do it.
For Tito to play possim he doesnt need alot of energy to chase his oppenet because he is not that much good of pressure fighter but more of a brawler. So he will fake a knockdown and then his oppenet will coming rushing to KO only to realize that Tito power is still there and would KO him.
why is is mostly in the 1st or 2nd round he knockdown? it rarely in the middle or end
I think Tito got good chin and legs. I think he himself knockdown on purpose to make fighter go toe2toe so they think they could KO him but actully at every knockdown he was in most of the he stood up unhurt or even doesnt look like it.
As for the left hook Tito has far better left hook. He uses whole his body to execute it from leg to abs to back to shoulder to his hands

getting knocked down is overrated,it counts as a point off but when you get up to win it doesn't matter.tito's got bambi legs,he always has.

yea i know but he caught him regardless and yea trinidad does have them legs man im goin for him in that jones jr. fight but im not sure he will win
Yea, people really forget how great DLH was in his prime. I always said, if you want to learn how to shoot the basketball, watch Ray Allen shoot the rock, if you want to learn how to box fundamentaly, watch Oscar DeLa Hoya in his prime.
The thing about De La Hoya was that he really could do it all, except for fight on the inside for an extended period of time or be physical. De La Hoya wasn't superhuman like Roy Jones or Tyson, but what he did was do all of the fundamentals solidly and made adjustments early in fights when need be. Plus he has some head on his shoulders.
ok he knocked him down and well have us een campas fall to the floor

what do u think campas has the same chin as andrade fucking stone chin.
NO.HE KNOCKED HIM DOWN.

Thanks. The major advantage De La Hoya had was that he changed it up. He didn't always try to decapitate you with the left hook. He'd change speeds, power, angles, anything to keep you guessing what was next. Then, he'd just drop the hammer and fight over.[/QUOTE

yea he did almost take his head off but i never seen campas fall to the floor and he knocked out trinidad in that fight even thoi think it was just a flash ko it was still crazy how he took all them punches then threw some back if it woulda been liek that all 12 rounds CERTIFIED CLASSIC

thats why he is a better fighter overall
I WAS JUST JOKIN,BUT THAT SHIT WAS BRUTAL,YOU KINDA RAN IT TO THAT ONE.

De La Hoya's was quicker and shorter, which affected opponents greater when he turned it all on one shot. You didn't see De La Hoya's left hook, you didn't even feel it when it came. You just went on your back and covered your eyes.
Tito was a mauler, a banger. He threw everything on every shot, but you could see it coming. Very rarely did Tito catch you with the shot you didn't see.
Tito just kinda beat you to death, whereas De La Hoya was a clean assassin.
