Its like he's just playing in there.Sorta like Mayweather but less entertaining. He'd been on a 6 decision'd streak. They have the nerve to call him little Tyson.
Guzman, he is a clown, a jerk. Guzman showed he was the faster guy, the stronger guy, THE BETTER MAN... PERIOD. So why run during the last rounds??? All he had to do was to stand on his ground and knock the fuck out of Soto. Showing off and literally running away and giving his back to Soto made him look very weak. One thing is to hit and run when you got an opponent bigger than you. (like Ivan Calderon and Floyd Mayweather use in their strategies) But to literally run away from a weaker opponent is pathetic. Cotto agaisnt Mosley used the hit and run 2-3 rounds and only "literally ran away" during the last round, Guzman did it for the last 3-4 rounds. Add the fact that this guy is Dominican, and I already want to see him kiss the floor for the count ASAP!!! What a pathetic loser!!! :pat:
ive seen quite a few of guzmans fights and do not find him boring at all, now he has moved up in weight he has boxed more, but all credit to him hes fighting smart with a good ring generalship, i apprechiate his skills and boxing brain, a quality fighter. boxing is an art.
Great counter punchers are perhaps the most time honored and effective styles known to boxing or any other form of combat for that matter.
It's just that some of them are not as good at it as they are given credit and it maybe true that they are overrated because of it but the style is in no way overrated.
Diaz would cream Guzman. Diaz don't play like Soto did, plus the ref was to hard on Soto regarding the low blows. Anyway, put diaz with guzman and the winner gets pac
guzman spped & style maybe boring, but i think its effective enough to be a tough match-up against anyone, who dont have a chin checker...
after jmm i want to see pac vs guzman...
guys like floyd, guzman, casamyaor, popkins.....those guys' style of fighting is overrated...
Oh ok,I got ya now. I actually like the way Mayweather counters. He does it very very well.
i mean out-boxers slicksters counterpunchers are overrated...guys who play defense a lot while going backwards and waiting to counter.....
Im still not feelin ya,but alright.
All Boxers are overrated? Explain please.

i bet on guzman so as you can see i like him, yet i felt soto was being given too little credit for his pressure...and the ref pretty much fucked soto because he was warning him for low blows even though guzman was the one moving up and down and if you pay attention after the second warning soto stopped throwing body punches....
this fight just proves waht ive always thought, boxers are overrated....its way harder to counter while making the fight than waiting for the opponent to make mistakes and then counter and move.....
guzman won pretty clearly though...

lol Yeah I don't think they meant he faught like Tyson, but that he just looked like Tyson. The guy puts on a look like he's ready to rape some christian children, lol but his wrist breaks when he fights...
Yeah I know, but still. To hold a nickname like that you gotta have more then just a look.I mean come on.
Guzman's a skilled fighter no doubt. but the "...he should be a superstar" fan boy retorts are ridiculous, let him fight in the shadows of the top guys at 130. personally I don't want to know I'm guaranteed to see a UD BEFORE I watch a fight, that's what you get with Guzman, unless he fights Marquez.
Yep,when he fights you might as well get ready to go to the store between rounds because you're going to see the full 12 rounds anyway.
Man, I sure didn't see that. But, you're from Queens so you're cool. Woodside and Jackson Heights in the house!!!
we got a couple of ppl from queens in the house..

They don't make defensive geniuses like this anymore...
