I had it the same 115-113... maybe even 116-112... but def. a Cotto win

I had it 115-113 for Cotto. I was about to have it a draw going into that last round and even though Cotto was running that last round he landed the more effective punches while Mosely seemed to apply the pressure Cotto dodged many of those punches and then countered. It was definitely a close ass fight and with Mosely switching the roles between the two I could see the arguement for a Mosely win, but still IMO Cotto landed the more effective punches during the fight and that's why I gave him the win.

Yeah, Cotto was winning the fight, but it's amazing when you begin to think, that if Mosley had knocked down Cotto, we would have witnessed a draw and we would still be saying to ourselves: Who's the better fighter? The fight was a "close-ass" fight. lol

I'm not sure why there is a debate on this, I am a neutral and had Cotto winning by two or three rounds. Mosely did well but was definitely beaten.

I just replayed the fight and I am even more convinced of this. And, clearly Mosely was hurt...it appeared to me that his jaw was broken. Perhaps this is why he was tentative and wouldn't really pull the trigger. IMO it had less to do with age and more to do with respect for Cotto's power.

There is a difference between being a good sport, and admitting defeat. What I got from his interview was that he is not disappointed that the fighter with a future in the sport got the nod. I dont think he feels he lost, I think he understands that it is better for the sport that Cotto won. good post......

cotto won. anybody who calls this a robbery is an idiot 1 or 2 points either way is the worst it gets. Cotto deserved it but if Mosley got a close one nobody would complain. It was a very good decision. I can't agree with that. I personally would have expressed doubts if they gave it to Shane, as I'm sure a ton of other people would.
