Ortiz vs. Maussa
Casamayor vs. Santa Cruz
Margarito vs. Johnson
Just anted ot make a thread for us to discuss these fights as they happen, and thoughts on them before they do.
I'm picking Ortiz over Maussa, Casamayor over Santa Cruz and Margarito over Johnson. Does Golden Johnson even have a chance?
Cotto's weakness is the uppercut, and that's Margarito's best weapon. I really think he'd have KO'd Williams if he threw more of them instead of starting so late.
yeah, i agree with you.
i think if cotto loses a fight with margarito could happen btw.
now im all hype...hahaha..... i think mosley wins but damn...i wouldt dare to bet on this fight. :boxing:
I'm fucking nervous as hell, and I have weed in me.
Nervous for Cotto eh? I'm not a big fan of his but I'm banking on him based on youth and youth only. It wouldn't surprise me at all if Mosley detonates him with a few rounds.
margarito - cotto.....wooow...i cant imagine what would happen there.
second time ive seen margarito, ill check his older fights.
now i see why there are a lot of people that like margarito.
well, his opponent was not a top level guy, but still, it was a masacre.

I never said "Margarito's the best welter in the world" I Just said "He's Back"
My comment was meant for HBO's commentators, my bad. It was a great performance to watch but it says nothing in terms of actual accomplishments. Golden Johnson isn't exactly a big name in the division. Try telling that to Jim Lampley though.......
