Though I was still a boy back when Tito was big, checking his history it's easy to see how bigger he was than Cotto. Trinidad had his fight against Oscar De La Hoya (a superfight with both undefeated and champions) that broke records on the PPV scale! Everyone was interested in seeing this fight! Trinidad won a decision, although controversial. He then went on to defend his titles a few times more, accumulating 40 wins if I'm not mistaken before at last being defeated by Hopkins. That's huge! That, with the fact that Trinidad was a powerpuncher and Puertorrican...meant that, at least, in Puerto Rico he was a humongous figure in Puerto Rico at the time. And there was much more hype for his fights than the ones with Cotto currently. I think Cotto's reaching that level. The Countdown show clearly showed it; the personality contrasts between Cotto and Trinidad couldn't be more opposite. Quick detail: The slow motion w/ Cotto looking at the camera as he walks to the right= BAD-ASS:boxing: HaHa.. That was a great shot with the voiceover. Great moment.

If he didn't leave his chin exposed then he wouldn't be Miguel Cotto. All fighters have vulnerable spots. No one is perfect. Its funny how leaving your chin exposed can lead you to a 30-0 record. Cotto ain't no Trinidad. Trinidad was better and still is. I like Trinidad. He fights for Puerto Rico. Damn I miss the old days when he was still active. cotto is a better boxer than tito has ever been.i love tito but miguelito actually knows how to duck a punch and not lean back.i miss tito too but you gotta look at this with some perspective.

Cotto's problem is that he leaves his chin exposed when he goes on the offensive and Mosley is a great counterpuncher that will capitalize on Cotto's weakness and hurt him badly. There are some dellusional Cotto fans that think he is on the same level as Trinidad, which is pure horseshit. I like Cotto, but some of his fans piss me off. Miguel's english is really improving. Of course editing helps, but he sounded more clear than ever. These shows are really well done, another good one here.
