dude just didnt seem like himself. he looked spent and tired. i know floyd's a fast dude so dont give me any of this "floyd is so good he makes everyone he fights look slow and weak" bullshit you PBF stans are gonna post.
Are you testing me? I don't take tests from you, Dios. I'll answer your questions, but you don't have the stature to administer "boxing tests" to me.
Edit: Terron Millet TKO 4, Junior Witter UD were outstanding performances, IMO.
I have never seen a fighter do less to try to win a fight than Witter did against Zab, except maybe Roy Jones Jr. against Antonio Tarver in the rubber match. That is what it reminded me of.
Please name the "major fights before Kosya Tszyu". Without boxrec.
Thanks in advance.

OK, I'll take the bait.
In which fight was Zab "much better" than he was in the Mayweather fight?
All major fights before and up to the moment of the Tszyu knockout. I like Zab. You may not believe it but I have always respected his balls. He will not dodge anybody. So I've seen him and after Tszyu he lost his mental confidence. It was a very hard loss at that time in Judah's career. One great right hand shot, Judah went from superstar to scrutinized. He just never was able to cope. IMO
I participated in an online interview with chico,on another website, he said he would win the rematch.
When asked what he would do differently, he said he "would have used the jab".
moot point, chico would never have beaten him.
I would also add the Judah fight to that. Because the advantages that Floyd typically brings into the ring were offset by Zab's strengths. So FMJ demonstrated tactical superiority.
I maintain that was the best Zab Judah we've ever seen.
You can maintain that, but I disagree. I've seen much better Zab. He was never the same after Tszyu shook his brain loose from its connective tissues.
mayweather's just outclassed him, corrales couldn't hang.. there's no excuses, floyd's just better
I actually think Floyd's win over Corrales was one of his greatest wins. It's one of the few Floyd wins that lives up to the hype. Oscar was his greatest win, but Corrales was his most real win, if you can see the difference. IMO

same reason Casamayor beat corrales and freitas gave him hell for 7 rounds.
Corrales never dealt with movement well. The castillo fights were abberations because Catillo would stand in and fight.
Corrales has never been more than an infighter.
watch the fight closely and see how corrales just couldn't let his hands go. thats because Floyd never stopped moving the entire fight. Unable to set, Corrales just couldn't let his punches go!
It was more a case of Corrales being one dimensional than Mayweather being great!
It's not Quantum Physics.
Diego Corrales was never anywhere near Floyd Mayweather's level. One was an exciting, hard punching B+ or A- fighter who was being severely overrated........against an A+++++ boxer/ defensive specialist.

do me a favor, DO NOT carry that SOHH/allhiphop.com mentality by using the word "STAN" please please please, post whatever you like, but please dont make "stan" a trend on here also
wtf is a "stan" ??
when people make excuses for corales in that fight, that just means they are just finding a way to take the victory away from floyd. floyd dominated and thats it. corales spent 5 more years at lightweight and his weight seemed fine until the begining of this year when he had to move to welterweight. at the end of the day, floyd still dominated, and he is still a 5 division world champ.
I love Diego, but he was never on Floyds level. He came into that fight undefeated and actually the favorite (if I remember right) but when the fight started Floyd just out classed him. Nobody expected that one sided of a beating and Diego was probably in shock.
Simple...
If you watch the fight over and over till the cows come home, you will conclude that Floyd, in one of his best performances ever, completely befuddled Diego, who just couldn't figure Floyd out that night.
Floyd rained left hooks, jabs, and lead right hands on Diego while fighting going backwards at times.
And when Diego hesitated, Floyd launched another assault.
All this while Diego was the champion, and at the top of his undefeated career.
Nuff said.:boxing:
Corrales couldn't handle the side to side movement. He should of used his jab more too. That's exhibit A of why you cant just be a brawler/pressure fighter to beat Floyd. You have to have actual boxing skill behind it.
thing is Diego was used to things 1 way, a brawl, he wasn't used to a brilliant Boxer/Puncher (he was a puncher in that weight class), he may have gone as far as under estimating Mayweather because it was Floyd's step up in competition, Diego had all the physical skills to beat Floyd but in terms of in-ring ability which is what it really boiled down to Mayweather had him in every way, his punches were faster and had more impact because Mayweather was stepping in with his punchesto increase the damage, Chico was being hit more than what he had ever been hit in ways and in places he hasn't felt before, of course he's been hit worse afterwards but at that time in his undefeated days Chico had ran threw just about everyone he faced with little to no problems, against Mayweather it took more than what Chico had to offer that night, he was hit with too much adversity and he couldn't do nothing but resort to his Knock you out style which didn't work on the elusive Mayweather, Floyd would almost land at will at one point, Chico just wasn't ready mentally for the fight but he wasn't weak, thrown off maybe but weak? nope.. 100
He wasted all his energy beating up his pregnant baby momma.
lol.
i dunno about chico being so weight drained. maybe he was but he made 130 for another 3 years so it wasn't like he outgrew the division.
chico just had a terrible game plan and mayweather took full advantages of his weaknesses. very rarely has any one fighter's weaknesses fell so much into another's strengths as mayweather-corrales.
it was more of a style mismatch than a class mismatch. corrales and castillo are around the same class/caliber of fighter. floyd struggled with one and "looked like willie pep with power" against another. just a style thing.
