Camacho was a hell of talent known as having some of the fastest handspeed in boxing and possessing some ring generalship for his time not to mention he was the Prince Nazeem of his time in which he had flamboyant ring entrances. He just wasn't the same after his fight with Edwin "El Chapo" Rosario...who many would say he (Macho) lost that fight but was given the nod by the refs. Then went down a roller coaster of drugs and parties. It was Macho time in his mind all the time.

can some1 tell me the story behind this fight

It was an old man vs a soon-to-be-washed up younger man. he was just 5 years older.

i remember talking about this fight when i was in 5th/6th grade... we all of the sudden were chamacho fans.. we had no idea the story behind it all haha i think had he not been so fucking coked up and ghetto he would be a beloved star in boxing

I was a huge Ray Leonard fan growing up and he is my all time favorite fighter,but i never got a chance to watch that Camacho fight in 1997. I have tried to youtube it,but its not on there. Couple of questions Was Ray that badly hurt? I mean was he knocked completely out Does anyone have any footage from that fight No he didn't seem hurt that bad but Camacho caught him with a good punch that drove him to the ropes. He then battered Leonard against the ropes & bloodied his nose pretty bad until the ref stopped the fight.
