i want to see marcus rhodes tax returns so i can see how much you can pocket for getting your ass kicked for an entire decade
On a related subject Hitman, do you know if boxers use a Schedule C to report their income and expenses? They must, right?
Joe Mesi recently told a radio station in Buffalo,NY that he is not looking in the direction of JD Chapman. Mesi said he would KO Chapman in one round. HA HA! Chapman would destroy Mesi. (Hopefully Mesi will back up his words and at least give Chapman a fight). Chapman has good skills, and with the right fight, he can elevate his career to the next level. As for fighting Kevin Johnson, Chapman is not ready for Kingpin. Give him a couple more fights, then Chapman may be ready to step up to Mr. Johnson.
Mesi and Chapman would be a good fight for both depending the Rhode outcome. I don't see Mesi running into any big fights right now. Mesi is a coward.

Too many damn fighters keep on fighting journeyman, i don't get it. THat's why the division sucks ass. All these guys mentioned in the thread should stop fighting journeyman and start heading towards a belt.

JD is the definition of an average fighter. I've never been very high on him.
He used to be a bouncer at a bar and he worked in construction. He has no armature experience, what he's doing and the pace that he is doing it in is fantastic if you knew him.
The Welliver fight would have been the perfect fight for JD at this point in his career, too bad Welliver doesn't have the belly for it.
If there's one thing Welliver has, it's belly.
What about James Toney Badblood? In his last outing, he barely beat the handpicked journey Danny Batchfelder. If JD, beat James Toney, he'd gain alot of popularity with hw fans...
JT keeps failing drug tests.

Yo, BadBlood your boy JD Chapman aint going nowhere. He could easily beat Tye Fields, Vinny Maddelone, Brian Minto, Hasim Rahman. He seriously needs to step up the competition. I would like to see him fight Chauncey Welliver. Somebody needs to KO that bitch Welliver, he is a disgrace to the HW division. He has good skills. I saw him fight live numerous times, great fighter, and a very friendly person aside the ring.

How bout Kevin Johnson?...:owned:

There’s bigger fish in the sea than Welliver; what about Brian Minto? Tye Fields? Hasim Rahman? James Toney? Mike Mollo? Joe Mesi?...
Right now it's Marcus Rhode, depending on that outcome we'll have to wait and see what comes down the pike. It's not like Hirsch is going to put Chapman up against a top 10 fighter any time soon because JD isn't ready for that kind of fight. In fact when I heard that they were trying to line up a fight with Saleem I nearly fell out of my chair. We all wanted to see the Welliver fight and it was a shame that Welliver backed out for no reason other than fear.
is he waiting to go 50-o before he fights someone in the top 20?
If the Welliver fight wouldn't have fallen through that would have been his biggest test. Chapman was ready to sign and Welliver backed out like a pussy.
Marcus Rhodes has, but JD hasn’t and doesn’t look like he wants to. JD should target someone like Tye Fields, Joe Mesi, Hasim Rahman, Mike Mollo, Brian Minto, etc.; basically a fighter who has some credibility….
Btw, Badblood do you communicate directly with JD?...
JD tried to set up a fight with Faruq Saleem but it never happened, the fight with Bostice fell through too. Scott Hirsch (JD's manager) has tried to get some decent opponents for him but things just hadn't worked out yet, remember JD is young, real young so give him some time before you expect him to jump in there with Sam Peter.
The fight that should have happened but never did was Chapman vs Chauncy Welliver. Welliver called him out over and over again and then backed down when the fight was close to being signed.
